To update the above request for help: I think I have it narrowed down to:

Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Login Welcome Page -› Special Redirection URL.

Now my question is: What would be the appropriate redirection code I should use for a user to return (after logging in) to the original page they were on before they were directed to the “Login Welcome Page”?

Currently the “Special Redirection URL” is set for my website’s homepage. Therefore regardless of the page you wanting to access, after login you are directed back to the homepage and then you must go back (once again) to the content you wanted.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. thx!

Sounds pretty close…to be clear please allow me to expand a bit:

When a visitor/user is not logged in and arrives to the site to then try and access a specific page (not the homepage) it requires that you be logged in, the visitor sees a page stating that you must be logged-in (or registered). Let’s say in the case of a registered user, they log-in and after logging in I would like for them to be returned (redirected) back the page they were trying to access.

For example on my website: http://www.emptus.com if you try to access the “VOLATILITY BANDS” page on the menu near top of my homepage (next to “HOME” on the left side of the menu bar) if you are not logged in (or registered) you are directed to a page explaining that you must be registered or to log in. After you log in, it directs you back to the page (the one I chose as first destination when I first set up s2members). All users logging in are directed to the homepage regardless of what they were trying to access. Obviously, unrestricted pages are not required to log-in and access those pages without any additional effort (e.g. “CONTACT US”).

I hope this makes it a little clearer….I earnestly appreciate your response and apologize for any inconveniences. thank a million :-)
