Thanks Cristian! This put me on the right path. The conditionals can control content within a page, I want to control the visibility of a menu item. In the instructions for API/Scripting I found a link to the Menu Item Visibility Control plugin – which uses conditionals. The page is still publically available, but is hidden to users who aren’t logged in :) Thanks again!
