One way around this is to integrate the s2Member subscription with a mailing list. As an example, i am using a kind of workaround like that (not the best yet, but it works for now). I get someone to register for a course called “basic”, and the member is added to my MailChimp mailing list. I added a merged tag with the registration for that particular course and enter the date of the registration (i do it manually now, but i might get it automatic with some coding later on). Then, i set up an autoresponder for sending an email 3 days after registration, 7 days after, 14 days after and so on. In my case, i have all the content (the video lessons) on the site and accessible as soon as the member is registered, but you can have the content on different pages, and linked in the email so the new member is not able to find the content until it is time.
It might not the most straightforward method, but it works if you have a small enough membership to do it manually, or do the coding as mentioned in another thread here about Merged Tags in MailChimp.
And this can be done with more than one product since it will be using a different merged tag and a different set of autoresponders.
Hope it helps.
