membership based affiliate commissions?

My company has a website (finaquant.com) powered with WordPress. We plan to sell some digital products (downloadable software) in near future.

Is it possible with s2member to pay commissions to affiliates based on membership only?

That is, each affiliate will earn commissions for all the purchases of the members he has directed to finaquant website. In other words, parent members (affiliates) earn commissions from all the purchases of their child members. Parent members should be able to track how many child members they currently have, and the earned commissions for each member.

If s2member supports such an affiliate system, what else software (to be integrated with s2member) would you recommend for a simple and compact solution?

Hello Tunc,

s2Member does not have any built-in affilate functionality, however we integrate with iDevAffiliate and ShareASale. You can find details about integrating s2Member with these two affiliate systems in Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Tracking. We also have a video on iDevAffilate integration.

WP-Affiliate is another Affiliate plugin (not free though). The only “bug” is that it uses cv1 as one variable so if you want to use custom variable in some of the shortcodes in s2M, you should use cv2 and leave cv1 space blank. But it works fine otherwise.
