Registered user bypass Welcome after login

I could not find the specific answer in the forums nor on Google search to my question. I would like my registered users (after they have logged in for the first time and been taken to my Welcome page on that first login), on all subsequent visits, to be directed to my Home page and thereby bypass the Welcome page.

Right now, a registered user, after ANY login, is directed to my Welcome page. They must then click ENTER on my Welcome page, to be directed to my Home page. I do not think they should have to see my Welcome page except upon their very first successful login. On my Welcome page I have a “welcome video” and so hearing that once is of course enough.

As far as I know s2Member always protects the login welcome page from public access so you could not redirect to the home page.

You could however make a login welcome page identical to your home page that users see when logging in.
To deal with the welcome video you can create a separate page that users see only on their first login using
this ‘1:http://example.com/welcome-video/’ that special url gets inserted in the input box under s2Member > General Options > One-Time-Offers ( Upon Login ), where you can also find more info.

Philly’s suggestion is correct. Set your Login Welcome page to your home page using the Special Redirection URL box at the bottom of that section. Then create a One-Time Offer (Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› One-Time Offers (Upon Login)) that points to another page where you have your video.
