Found the following posted by a member – Thanks! My hosting is with bluehost. They use proxies and so say I CAN NOT do a reverse. Bummer. Is there any other way to get this working? Thanks in advance for any help.

For all of you who have been searching for hours or days trying to figure out why the Aweber integration is not working through S2Member I”ve found a solution that worked for me. Might save you a lot of trouble.

Call your hosting provider (mine is HostGator) and request that they add a “Reverse DNS record, PTR, or pointer record” to your hosting account.

If you are seeing that when you run the “bcc” test that they suggest here and all is looking good meaning the “add” email is being generated by the S2Member system but Aweber is not adding your contacts to your list this is probably your problem. Basically without this “Reverse DNS record, PTR, or pointer record” your “add” emails will be blocked as spam by Aweber and names will not be added to your list.

I attached a screenshot of the info I still need. Is there an article somewhere that explains all this. I’d be happy to read it but can’t find it. I understand there is an article somewhere.

I believe I have the s2member set up correctly to integrate with Aweber. I have the parser set up and tested and it looks good. but no subscribers are being added to my aweber email list although I have had multiple new registrants on my website via s2menber since setting this up. so they should be placed into my aweber list bit are not.

I am not sure what to do or where to go from here.

Okay,
I checked for the plugin files inside my WP dashboard.
The

s2member.php

file is active, but when go to s2member/includes/

s2member.js

or s2member/includes

/s2member-min.js

it is showing it inactive
Is this the problem why JavaScript is not working?

Thanks for your reply, but I don’t think that’s a cloudflare problem.
As far as I know Cloudflare is related to URL redirection and caching things.
Please let me know any other issue if you think is causing this.
I really want Cloudflare there on my site.

Thanks Eduan for your response. Somehow I missed the email for your comment so just came in and checked.

We tried on both of the following pages to register him unsuccessfully. I was able to add him manually.

As for the short code:
I am not sure where to find that. Sorry, I am pretty much a user who configures a few plugins to use and then goes on. been so long since I set it up, I looked and now don’t know where to find what you need.

I have been a pro user for sometime. I just upgraded to the multi-site license.

I was not looking for a special deal nor for you to bend the rules for me. I was asking because software companies sometimes have policies in place for just such occurrences – when a purchase is made for a product and then an upgrade or discount becomes available within a stipulated time frame – rebates are sometimes offered. I understand. I was checking to see if you had such a policy.

Thanks, I’ll see what I can do. I’m quite inexperienced so I may have to just deal with it. We’ll see. So at least I know I am not missing something in s2Member that can be tweaked in this regard. Thanks again.
