User/member CSV Exportation Unreadable

We just purchased the Pro version and testing various options to see what works best for us. We tried the User/member CSV Exportation process to see what data was in the member database, but the .CSV file we downloaded was unreadable. We tried to open it from within Notepad and Excel and and both times what apeared was unreadable (see a portion below).
