Hi again,

No, the emails are not personalized, its just information about how to pay their membership and then the link they should use to do it (but not share).

Thank you for the idea, might work for now :)

Hi Cristián,

Thank you for answering. I’m not sure “we’re on the same page” though. In step 3,
they would like to inlude a link in the email like http://www.domain.se/members/pay&individualcode-can-be-used-once or maybe, produce some sort of code/key the becoming member have to fill in, in a field in the pro-form. So without a code, the form is useless.

We’re using paypal express checkout with S2M pro-forms.

Any ideas very appreciated.

Hi again,

It seems you are right. BuddyPress takes over, no matter what the page name/slug is. Any ideas what could be done to solve this, to show the S2-form by shortcode in a template?

In the body tag I see my template is active but somehow overwritten by BuddyPress

<body class="directory logged-in activation page page-id-246 page-child parent-pageid-244 page-template page-template-membership-activate-steering-php admin-bar debug-bar-maximized">

Would appreciate any help/tips,
Thank you in advance,
E

Hi,

Thank you for response. Actually, I just tried that yesterday. Created a dummy page in wp-admin called “test” and assigned the template, but still the same result showing the list of members.

If I put the shortcode within the wp-editor of the same page “test” it works, but I would rather keep the code in the template so the client won’t change it accidentally.

Hi Cristián,

Yes, I have written this code in a template file of WordPress. And then assigned this template to a page. Like below.

<?php /* Template Name: Membership activate steeringgroup */ ?>

<?php get_header(); ?>

<div id="content">
<?php echo do_shortcode('[s2Member-Pro-PayPal-Form register="1" level="2" ccaps="" desc="Activate subvention membership" custom="domain123.se" tp="1" tt="Y" captcha="clean" /]'); ?>
</div>

<?php get_sidebar(); ?>
<?php get_footer(); ?>

This is for an installation of WP, BuddyPress, bbPress and S2Member. All forms/inputs are created in S2.

When I assign this template to a page, nothing shows, or BuddyPress seems to take over and show the list of members/users.

Any advice what could be wrong? Thank you in advance,
/E

Just found this http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/s2member-profile-search/#post-6314

The next major release of s2Member, probably coming out in around a month, will allow easier custom fields search. The BP integration with it may come a little after that, but will be much easier.

Has this been included in S2 now?

Thank you in advance,
/e

Another question, how does it work if I buy one single-site License for customer A now, no problems… but later next year I buy another single-site License for customer B. Does my account keep track of how many single plugins I buy and where I use them?

I see the point in unlimited-site License, but I don’t know if there will be use of it, at the moment.
Thank you again :)

Hello again,

Ok, so what I write above is fully possible? Must test everything on demo-site-www before going live :)

It’s just the domain registered for my personal account, that decides where I can use the plugin, not a serial number?

Thank you.
