Hi Christian, thanks for getting back to me. To be clear, I’m speaking about the Membership Options Page, which s2member states is “always publically available.” I think that’s not the same as wp-login.php that you mention. My point was that a logged-in user got to the Authorize.net pro form and managed to pay twice, even though she was logged in. To prevent that, I inserted conditional tags.

If you have a better solution, I’m all ears! My original question has to do with throughput, and it basically boils down to why is the Authorize.net Pro Form accepting double payment from registered users, not on the Update Account page? Is that intentional?

Thanks!

this works, thanks Christian!

Thanks, this is verified working!

I definitely didn’t find this in the documentation, I wonder if I missed that or if the doc should be updated. We have all our videos handled by JWPlayer and AWS using the s2member shortcode, so some will necessarily have to be on public pages.

Thanks for this assistance.

Thanks! interestingly enough, Flowplayer is serving up protected videos pretty well. Not sure which player to go with here.

Hi, you didn’t provide an email address to send the admin credentials to; I send to your main email address s2member@websharks.com with the title of this forum thread intact and from the email address registered with this account.

This is a huge issue for us, videos are primary content and aren’t loading for a large percentage of users. I hope you get the admin credentials, but feel free to contact me in case you need any more info.

Thanks! (James, for Lucy)

Hi, thanks for your reply. I’m using the shortcode below to call JWPlayer:

[s2Stream player="jwplayer-v6-rtmp" player_path="/jwplayer/jwplayer.js" player_width="480" player_height="270" file_download="bunny.mp4" /]

Strange you get no content, the video plays fine for me in chrome, but not in Safari. I added some text below the video, which I can read in Chrome.

Sorry, I meant to give example links of windows that don’t open in the player. It’s weird, some people don’t get it to open in Chrome and some do, same with Firefox and Safari.

http://seeyourfeelings.com/video/test-video-2-2/ (currently playing black video – i’m trying to work this out on the jw player forums)
http://seeyourfeelings.com/video/test-video-bunny/ (this video plays, if you get the window)

Any help would be much appreciated… thanks in advance.

I’m having almost the same: the video window displays fine for me in Chrome but doesn’t display at all in Firefox. Other people can’t get the video to display in any browser.

I didn’t find the article about including the JW Player script in the head tag.. where can I find that?

Oh and the other issue is that even for those who can play the video, it’s playing very poorly. Lots of stops and starts. The same video file uploaded to Vimeo plays fine. This is using S2Member / AWS S3 / Cloudfront / JW Player. Any idea how I can troubleshoot this? I have been through all the support docs that I can find…

Thanks
