Hi Philly
It appears that we are on some disconnect here. I get the buttons as you can see I had already created these buttons for level 1 and level 2. Where in the code string should the ccbill information be placed? Why is the ccbill code wrong, because it already works when the new member enters their credit card and they get the ccbill confirmation, I have tested that myself with my own credit card. I appreciate you assistance. This is very frustrating because I have read your quickstart guide and other information. Again I am not a programmer so thank you for your help. This is the last item I need to turn our membership site over to launch. You can call me at XXX-XXX-XXXX

Hi there
Ok I have found the buttons for our 2 levels of membership, basically level 1 for our monthly 29.95 and level 2 for our quarterly 75.95. Where do I insert the ccbill code to take the members to the credit card page?
And what part of the s2member button code will see the postback from ccbill and recognize the new member then send out the s2member email to create username and password?. I want the users to be able to create their own password.
Thank you Philly

Hello Eduan,
Well I am stuck I cannot figure our what I am missing with regards to all the help I have received from s2Member regarding my issue when a new member signs up and does not get the congratulations email that then allows them to create their username and password. Do you guys login to peoples backoffices and go through their site to make sure everything is in place with the s2member plugin? I would definitely allow this because we have had this issue now for over 2 weeks and is impairing us from fully launching this new site. Please let me know
Thank you

Cool, thank you for you responses they have been the most helpfl. I was going to use a plugin called WP show ID.
Do I need a plug in to show the page/post numbers so I can assign them to the levels of membership or is this function already available and I have not seen it yet?
Thank you

Hi Philly
In my ccbill account support gave me this code, which I have been using on our join now in our membership options tab.

Hello Brian,

Here are the linking codes for the CCBill sign up page. You will just need to replace this with what is on your website.

Linking codes for pricing option $29.95 for 30 days, then $29.95 recurring every 30 days
Button code:

Or

link code:
Join now

Linking codes for pricing option $79.95 for 90 days, then $79.95 recurring every 90 days

Button code:

Or

link code:
Join now

Hello Raam,
Thanks for the response. Yes I have read the quick start guide multiple times… obviously still missing something and will read again.
yes I have gone through the CCBill options area with CCBill to make sure all the necessary info is in place.
Is the log files area the only place to look to see that the postback has been received from CCBill and the next step in s2member generating the new customer email is linked up or turned on?
Thanks again am reading away

Hello Cristian

I am sure you are swamped in the success of s2member. Maybe this issue might be an issue for Jason. I read his response with the ccbill user management turned off. All CCBill options for user management habeen turned off. Can you please forward this to him. in all sincerity
Thank you
Brian

Last challenge to turn on our membership site – please help

“I received some more information from CCBill our payment gateway. It appears that when the customer completes the CCBill credit card form, a postback is being sent over the datalinks and is received by s2member. It also appears that nothing is happening (ie s2member sending out the confirmation email) upon receipt of this post back. All appropriate ccbill software is accurately turned off in their user management in order for s2member to function. Where do I look to turn on the switch and enable the username and password email to be sent to the new member?
Thank you for your assistance.”

By the way folks, we are an s2 pro member. We have paid for a single license fee. I have been moved around and around with no answer to this problem. Please assist with the solution right this been ongoing for two weeks. I am very frustrated with the service with no plausible step by step to work through this.

Hello Cristian,
Thank you for your response. Here is my issue, bear with me.
1.) User Management is no longer possible with CCBill because s2member forces me to use s2member user management? please confirm
2.) I need assistance in making sure that the process is correct for a new customer to create an account with us and then have the username email from s2member – all steps enabled.

I thought I understood the process as far as s2member talking back and forth with CCBill but it appears I do not. I was not aware of any step like create a pro form etc… I was under the impression that s2member user management would do it all, after I turned off the ccbill user management to manage the customer username and password etc and their ability to create a user name.
3.) This step of confirmation from s2member is the last step for us to have a functional membership site. Please help me check all the steps within s2member to make sure everything is turned on that needs to be turned on. Even one phone call so we could square this away once and for all would save us all more time. if possible, 805-336-5196.
I will not, i repeat take for granted the possibility of future phone calls, ANYTHING to get this corrected, please!
Thank you

Hi there
Quite the opposite. I need to find out why the confirmation email that contains the link for the new customer to create a user name a password is located in the back office and how to make sure it is connected to CCBill. We are not working with Paypal our credit card gateway is through CCbill. Please seek assistance if you are not familiar with this instance as it has made potential customers irate because they have no way to create a username and login to the membership of which they just purchased. Thank you Eduan

Thanks %%first_name%%! Your membership has been approved.

If you haven’t already done so, the next step is to Register a Username.

Complete your registration here:
%%registration_url%% This url is what?

If you have any trouble, please feel free to contact us right away.

Where do I put extra codes for full name, email, etc.? How can I edit this and add our support email?
So when I signed up I did not not get the s2Member confirmation to create my username and password?
Thanks

One other question Eduan, We have subscribers trying to sign up but they are not getting the follow up email from s2member for their user name. I made sure that all the CCBill User Management switches are turned off with CCBill Support. Can you tell me how to review all my s2member signup confirmation email. This is imperative to our success obviously. Please contact me right away. Thank you Eduan

Hello Eduan,
I hope you had a relaxing weekend. My questions today are in regards to the standard signup email confirmation.
1.) %%registration_url%% what actual url needs to be here for them to successfully establish a username? do they get a popup that looks like the s2member login?
2.) with the replacement codes available like name etc… where does the code get placed within the email confirmation script?

Hi Eduan
No worries the confusion is all mine as I am still learning the backend of both wordpress and s2member. Thank you so much for your help

Hi Eduan, well I was under the impression that post/pade ids were page numbers? as in being able to set for example,
1,7,38,144 for level 0 = free subscribers
17,24,28,35,38,127,144 for level 1 = paid members
this is how our membership breaks out level 0 is FREE subscribers, Level 1 is all paid members, we have 2 paid memberships 29.95/month and 75.95/quarterly. I hope that explains a little more of what I want to do and then where do I find these numbers, whatever they may be called, to attach to each level.
Thank you

Well maybe, does the post/page id area tell me what the individual page numbers are?

Posted: Wednesday Aug 22nd, 2012 at 11:25 am #22753

Hi Raam
Thanks, where do I find the page numbers so I can set specific pages to my two levels on our membership site?
Thanks
Brian

Hello Raam,
Thank you for the responses. I will look into each area. As far as the code that Eduan provided that I forwarded to you a few days ago regarding the terms and agreement pop up, will this work if I give it to a programmer and they can into our site?
Thank you again for your attention to my concerns. I have some work to do
Be well

Hi there,
Thanks for your response. I hope you are doing well. I thank you in advance as I am NOT a programmer so I apologize for my “newbiness” (how is that for a word). I will look into the Custom capabilities as you have suggested. The clubhouse is still holding its own. What a beautiful setting here at the harbor. I understand about the programming scenario. I actually have 4 issues, maybe you can lead me to the resolutions, bear with me:
1.) Are you familiar with a pop up for wordpress that – as a new member clicks on our “join now” button, a pop up will show our terms and conditions with an accept or decline button then forwards them to the appropriate page based on their action, like forwarding them to the ccbill credit card form? I am looking at Simple pop up and or MOWPOP…will these do what I have explained, if not are you aware of one that will do this function and recommend it, without having to hire a programmer?

2.)Using s2member, I cannot use ccbill user management. They do not collect the username and password when s2member is being utilized. I confirmed with CCBill that this is the case. When I initially signed on to CCBill I wanted to use their user management because of the flexibility with handling the member info and was not told that I could not. Being a 2 person team and heavily involved in the marketing side as well, in driving traffic to our site, this would have been very beneficial. Not being familiar with the capabilities of s2member in creating another step for the new customer, I hope that this it is just as flexible and automatic…ya? have you guys found this to be a reason for new subs to get frustrated then click off the sign up with an extra account creation step? Ok so one more step for the subscriber to become a member.

Can you confirm each item in s2member/Pro that I need to make sure is ‘turned on’ so that ccbill will “ack back” so to speak, with the new sub form to tell s2member to send the welcome or denial email? Then will the new member receive their welcome email and the instructions to setup the uname and password? Then I can call CCBill back and make sure that their “do not collect uname and pwd” option is selected on my ccbill ccount. Side issue attached to this change…
now because we are using s2member, we cannot set up a ‘dummy user’ in ccbill to validate that all our postings are going out as expected after they have become a new and approved member .
3.) Can I create a dummy user in s2member or Pro that as I send out future posts with new content, I can validate that it was received to the best of my knowledge and that it possibly will find our members?
4.) Can I copy and paste archive data from one wordpress site to another,ie our blog site etfprofittriggers.com has an active archive and I want to copy it to our new membership site – tradingwithoutdoubt.com.
A.) can I make the blog posting archive on our new site lag one month behind our members only area archive? Is it possible to have 2 archives?

Thank you so much for your patience Raam, I look forward to anymore assistance you can provide.
Be well
Brian
