Cancel Members S2Member Suspend Paypal

I’m still having issues from this psot: http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/canceling-member-with-paypal/

Since it’s closed I will open annother.

So here is what is happening step by step

1. The member is canceling account using the
[s2Member-Pro-PayPal-Form cancel="1" desc="This will cancel your account. Are you sure?" captcha="0" /]

2. When I login to paypal the account is set to suspend and doesn’t completely cancel the account.

Do I have to manually go in to cancel all those account from suspend to a cancelled account?

Is there a setting that I’m missing?

it seems like a ton of work … shouldn’t it be cancelled all the way or it is better to stay in suspend. Or does it not matter ?

Hi Derek,

A suspended account doesn’t need to be canceled… if it shows as suspended in PayPal, it won’t be charged. It’s really just a terminology thing on PayPal’s side and how PayPal marks an account as suspended or canceled differs depending on the circumstances.
