Thank you Cristián.

I will follow your advice. Can you advise me on what folder the IPN log is found in? Thank you sir.

Cassel,

Thanks for the suggestion. I’m using 2 different accounts, so I don’t think that would be the cause. The original transaction worked fine the day I setup the membership – this problem has occurred now 30 days later on the 1st monthly recurring charge.

Thanks though.

The next logical question would be . . . . .

The registration forms that S2MemberPro allows us to create, utilize “Custom Registration/Profile Fields” that can be set to appear only on forms for specific membership levels. That is a great function.

How do we get the same “member-level specific” form field inclusions/exclusions when using the custom capability functionality to delineate different membership types?

Thank you.

Eduan,

Thanks. I watched the videos on Custom Capabilities and it leads me to another question. Right now, S2MemberPro’s (out of the box) functionality limits the site’s main menu items only to pages that the user has the correct member-level permissions to view. If they don’t have the correct member level to access a page, the menu deletes that page link automatically. That is VERY cool. Will the same dynamic menu configuration occur when I limit user access to specific pages using custom capabilities? or will the user see pages listed on the menu, even though custom capabilities will restrict them from navigating to those pages?

Thank you.

Cristian,

As much as I appreciate your desire to assist, I (like many of s2MemberPro’s customers) are not coders or developers. We are blog owners who chose WordPress as our platform because we aren’t coders/developers.

As such, I graciously ask for you to give me a little more guidance in exactly where that line of code goes. Not being coders/developers, we’d like to be able to make changes to our sites without crashing our sites. Thank you for lowering your support approach to a more novice level.

Thank you Cristián.

Can you show me how to do that please? Thank you.

Cristián,

Thanks for the input. Actually, I don’t want to hide the links. I want the main WP menu to look the same to both members and non-members. I just want the link to allow access out to the external page if the user is s signed-in member, otherwise they receive the standard non-member restriction error.

Thank you sir.

Eduan,

Thanks for the article. I had read that earlier today and I don’t think that will help. The destination files ate HTML, not PHP, and I’d like those files to not be protected if they are accessed via another route – I just want to make it so that the WP site that I have S2MemberPro running on will not allow non-members direct access to the file via the WP menu. It would be great to have it so the links in the menu will only let the user access those outside files if they are a registered member.

Thank you,

Raam,

Where does this line go?

.ws-plugin–s2member-pro-login-widget-username { color: red; }

Thank you.

Raam, it’s the actual user’s personal username that I need to change the color of. Thank you.

Bruce,

I’m struggling a little with this one. Can you give me a syntax example for the shortcode conditional for this? Thanks.

Yeah, have watched just about every video on the playlist over the past month. There’s one on PayPal Options / Buttons, but not one on Pro Forms. Thanks

Raam and Cristián,

The registration form that I have created is quite long (I’m gathering LOTS of user data). As shown in the image above, all I really need to do is clean up some of its elements from an aesthetic standpoint. Cristián suggested that I create a custom template. This is completely new to me, so I need some beginner’s guidance. Can I take the existing registration form as I’ve currently created it (with all the data fields that I’ve built) and use that as a customizable template? Is there an easier way (perhaps just editing the underlying HTML)? What safe/easy options do I have gentlemen?

Also, to repeat the item in the lower section of the image above, can anything be done to move the section divider lines on the basic registration form so that they lead the new section (described in photo above)?

Thank you gentlemen.
