By using the S2 button creator it works fine, also tried other method inserting custom code into button creator at paypal but it didn’t work, so I will stick to the S2 creator as it works fine.

This works fine being a registered free subscriber, but can you set it up so if a person wants to bypass free registration and go straight to the purchase button on the membership options page they can without previously being registered at all?

Also can you modify the page( you see after purchase) that says “go back and login”? or link to another welcome page?

Thanks for your assistance.

The buy button is at the bottom of the page.

Just if it helps I have received today an email from Paypal………

Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notification (IPN) messages. Messages sent to the following URL(s) are not being received:

If you do not recognize this URL, you may be using a service provider that is using IPN on your behalf. Please contact your service provider with the above information.

Once you or your service provider fix this problem, you or your service provider can resend the failed messages from the IPN History page. If this problem continues, PayPal may disable the IPN feature for your account.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this issue.

I am not sure which short codes you would like, so I have attached a couple anyway. Just let us know either way!

Please help as previous message, why aren’t any emails being sent to new members with their new login details? This is in regard to using the registration form (not pro form). Why is it in pro form it sends out login details no problems but not in the registration form method?

Thanks,

Greg.

Thanks, I will check it out.

1) The registration part is all good but no login details are sent to the new member.

2) I tried the Pro registration works like a dream and login details are delivered to the new member. But I wont be able to use this on level 1 ( is thinking correct ?) because I don’t use Paypal Pro I use PayPal website payments.

That takes us back to option 1.

Any ideas why there are no login details being forwarded after registration process?

Thanks,

Greg

Hi Cristian,
I tried countless times to upload to a couple different domains wp-content/plugins folder but no joy, it just keeps overwriting the framework file (permission set were 775). I checked with my isp support and they said to manually create and name the folder hence incorrect typing of S2member- pro.

But I tried once more on a new domain and presto it uploaded no problems.

Thanks for your help, It might make sense to compile a list of various plugins or what ever else causes problems with S2 for future situations like this.
Greg.

7 days have passed no response returned from private contact form. I think I have been more then patient after purchasing a product which I haven’t been able to use. One would expect at least immediate attention to this problem or issue a refund.

I deleted framework and reinstalled it, I got rid of folder on FTP an re-uploaded it still the same problem just overwrites s2members files. Any ideas??

Posted: Friday Dec 7th, 2012 at 9:02 am #33887

What are the extra applications that come with Pro so I can check the plugin on the dashboard to see if I already have Pro running.

Posted: Friday Dec 7th, 2012 at 8:49 am #33883

Why is it when I am uploading the S2Member- Pro folder it does not show as S2 Member Pro it stays as S2 Member it uploads fine but its overwriting other S2 files is this correct. Here is the path /public_html/wp-content/plugins/s2member…………………. (no Pro on the end)

Sorry forgot to mention framework was downloaded from wp-admin as a new plugin

Posted: Thursday Dec 6th, 2012 at 9:07 pm #33829

I changed the permissions to 775 but still not working. Is there any way to Re Download S2 member pro that way we can see if that is the problem.

Posted: Thursday Dec 6th, 2012 at 3:01 pm #33736

Yes I have framework installed and there is also only one S2 member pro folder not two, but it still does not work.
I can see in my FTP the folder is in the correct place. Any ideas ??
