Thanks Cristián,

Concerning the password MD5 encoding, how does your user import process work exactly? Does it use the standard wp_create_user or do you do your own thing? I’m asking to see if I can turn off the MD5 encoding function somehow when importing. I wouldn’t want 30,000 people to have to create new passwords if they don’t have to.

Thanks!

Hi,
A cron? I don’t think I need to run a cron, or why do you say so?

Ok, if there is no setting for this, can you tell me where in the plugin you handle EOT demotions?
If I can find it, I’ll be able to set it so the EOT demotion doesn’t set the role back to level 0, but to a level I specify.

Thanks,
Tom

Cristián, thanks, but what I’m talking about is sending out differing signup confirmation emails based on which membership the customer buys.

As far as I know, the present method which you mention does not allow for that, other than replacing a few variables of course.

I agree, the email feature would really be needed.

Most plugins can send a custom letter at EOT as well, so I can write the ex-subscribers a bye-bye letter.

I would also like to be able to send a different emails on sign up, based on the purchased membership level. At the moment I solve this by directing them to a page on the site, which shows them content based on their membership level, but the email version would be much better.

Yes, that did it. I have super security things enabled since 2 of my sites got hacked recently, and one of the security measures was to disable long URLs.

Thank you for your quick and knowledgeable support Cristián!
