That code looks good.

As a test can you paste the following code into that page please

[s2File download="lesson1.mp4" url_to_storage_source="true" get_streamer_json="true" download_key="true" /]

And is the lesson1.mp4 file in a folder in your bucket?

Can you post the code again in tags please

and make that page non-protected

Thanks

HTTP

Yes you are right about that. The only way to get HTTP pseudostreaming to work is like this

<script type="text/javascript">
    jwplayer("jw-container").setup({modes:
    [
        {type: "flash", provider: "http", src: "jwplayer/player.swf",
            config: {file: "/wp-content/plugins/s2member-files/s2member-file-inline/video.mp4"}},
                  width: 480, height: 270
    });
</script>

The plugin tries to serve the file via rtmp and flash first, then if flash is not supported it switches to the html5 player and server via http. Which works fine.

Could you paste the code your using here or provide a link please

Sorry Ulrich,

I mean the settings which dictate how many files a user can view/download.

They are located =>

WordPress => Dashboard => s2Member => Download Options => Basic Download Restrictions

Posted: Wednesday Sep 5th, 2012 at 7:56 pm #24220

Hello Ulrich,

Have you setup your download restrictions yet?

WordPress => Dashboard => s2Member => Download Options => Basic Download Restrictions

Brian,

Please use those buttons I made you.

I can’t call you I’m in sunny England.

Why is the ccbill code wrong, because it already works when the new member enters their credit card and they get the ccbill confirmation, I have tested that myself with my own credit card.

They don’t work.

Posted: Wednesday Sep 5th, 2012 at 6:17 pm #24207

Right I’ve been at this for hours but still cannot get it to work.

I thought it may have been the shortcode plugin because it was setting

provider: "rtmp",

as the default. That turned out not to be the case as I was replicating the problem without the plugin.

For some reason the JW player doesn’t like that url when in flash mode via http, in flash via rtmp its fine and in html5 mode its also fine.

The only way it seems to work in flash-html mode was passing the url like

/wp-content/plugins/s2member-files/s2member-file-inline/video.mp4

Which you cannot do with the plugin at the moment.

I don’t know why but its probably to do with what you said.

If you dont need to set download keys and any features like that, you can use JW’s official plugin which seems to work as long as you don’t intend on using rtmp.

I’m going to have a look at adding more options to the shortcode plugin to account for this

Sorry but I think its my fault when you said streaming I thought you were using cloudfront as well.

So the limitation is with the plugin, So i will fix that now.

My apologies

I have made the buttons for you.

You need to insert them where your ccbill join links are now, which are wrong anyway.

This is for level 1 -Monthly

[s2Member-Pro-ccBill-Button level="1" ccaps="" desc="Monthly Membership" cc="USD" custom="tradingwithoutdoubt.com" ta="29.95" tp="30" tt="D" ra="29.95" rp="1" rt="M" rr="1" image="default" output="anchor" /]

This is for level 2 – Quarterly

[s2Member-Pro-ccBill-Button level="2" ccaps="" desc="Quarterly Membership" cc="USD" custom="tradingwithoutdoubt.com" ta="75.95" tp="90" tt="D" ra="75.95" rp="3" rt="M" rr="1" image="default" output="anchor" /]

Copy and paste those into the page where required.

I want the users to be able to create their own password.

You need to enable that in your s2member settings

Can you also check the contents of your crossdomain.xml file in your amazon bucket, on some installations this gets corrupted

Posted: Wednesday Sep 5th, 2012 at 8:58 am #24153

The streamer being passed is incorrect it should be

rtmp://s2member-files.ironphoenix.com.s3.amazonaws.com

I notice your not using the latest version of wordpress, are you able to upgrade?

And as a test can you switch to the twentyeleven theme with only the s2member plugin activated, and see what the response is.

I think the 403 is because amazon is seeing the request as expired

Posted: Tuesday Sep 4th, 2012 at 5:45 pm #24073

I think your right when you say it may be a server configuration issue as one thing i notice is the link has expired so I would check what time your server thinks it is.

I think there maybe more going on than that though, but I can’t think what.

Lets see what the Cristián or Raam thinks?

Can you put this in your page and see what it outputs? If its the same error then we can at least narrow it down to a conflict with the s2member shortcode as opposed to the video one

[s2File download="video.mp4" url_to_storage_source="true" count_against_user="true" get_streamer_json="true" /]

It’s supposed to output something like

{"streamer":"rtmp:\/\/website.com\/cfx\/st","file":"video.mp4?Policy=eyJTdGF0ZW1lbnQiOlt7IlJlc291cmNlIjoidmlkZW9zLzAwMDEvMDAwMS00ODB4MjcwLm1wNCIsIkNvbmRpdGlvbiI6eyJJcEFkZHJlc3MiOnsiQVdTOlNvdXJjZUlwIjoiODYuMTQuMTUzLjY0LzMyIn0sIkRhdGVMZXNzVGhhbiI6eyJBV1M6RXBvY2hUaW1lIjoxMzQ2ODc3NzkzfX19XX0_&Signature=iulGimzsJQvQYoBZ7q7vB0KTUrGFBSf3itgOCJszXb6N97wHfSGswgjK8qq591gLPwUBy19sH654~fB9pCiAUZMSrAtIhBR5C6TsRqfks-ij9nnd6eE2qtcBLhZ~OjN4EceA~7juVVquO4ucbXw545j~49YN52SCTutg8pcTGgI_&Key-Pair-Id=APKAJTVWA2VC2JXWZMSA","url":"http:\/\/website.com\/video.mp4?Policy=eyJTdGF0ZW1lbnQiOlt7IlJlc291cmNlIjoiaHR0cDovL2Rvd25sb2FkLmdkLWNkbi5jb20vdmlkZW9zLzAwMDEvMDAwMS00ODB4MjcwLm1wNCIsIkNvbmRpdGlvbiI6eyJJcEFkZHJlc3MiOnsiQVdTOlNvdXJjZUlwIjoiODYuMTQuMTUzLjY0LzMyIn0sIkRhdGVMZXNzVGhhbiI6eyJBV1M6RXBvY2hUaW1lIjoxMzQ2ODc3NzkzfX19XX0_&Signature=LgwKdcgV1353GPk2Brfx6TopBARCNv1nieWjy3rzMN5-KrCg3v04Ji43QmO2rNTRBSBeGyISpYVwNTMU4NyQil2IFcpX0QuR097vcUUhOEuMWxQrKQAiHcog2zGjokeIcnO~FhKW-w0t8n5VInRA0bZIwJFLU4PklzMBbklBc-Y_&Key-Pair-Id=APKAJTVWA2VC2JXWZMSA"}

The shortcode don’t seem to be parsing correctly, can you disable your plugins one by one starting with the shortcode plugins your using, checking after each one to see if it works, maybe one is conflicting?

Posted: Tuesday Sep 4th, 2012 at 1:04 pm #24046

Its never in a million years going to work unless you use the s2member buttons

They are here

http://tradingwithoutdoubt.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ws-plugin–s2member-pro-ccbill-buttons

What is the name of the dynamic form that you asked CCBill to create?

Posted: Tuesday Sep 4th, 2012 at 12:39 pm #24044

Hello,

Please can you download s2Member’s Server Check Tool, upload the PHP file to your WordPress directory, and then load the URL to the file in your browser. It will run a bunch of tests to determine if there’s anything amiss on the server-side.

Lets see what that say’s and then go from there :)

Posted: Tuesday Sep 4th, 2012 at 12:22 pm #24042

Can you paste the shortcode your using for your pay now button

and whats the name of the dynamic form that you asked CCBill to create?

Hello Ansel

We need to know if S2Member works with domain mapping

When I tested this I didn’t have any problems on the s2Member side of things, I did however have many problems with regards to the way WordPress functions, one of which I mention in this thread. Other problems I encountered included username selection restrictions, but more importantly the inability to create an account on site 1 and site 2 with the same email address, while this may be fine in some situations it certainly isn’t if your maintaing sites for different clients or sites that are not in any way related

No just one, ignore that step if you’ve already done it.

Just start live chat and say something like

Hello,

I’m just configuring my membership site using the s2Member plugin for WordPress.

In order to set this up correctly I need to configure a dynamic pricing form, as my site will use one form for all purchases, which will vary in amount.

Please can you set one up for me and tell me what its called? As its the only form I need you can make an existing one dynamic.

Could I also have my Triple DES Encryption Key. Sometimes referred to as a Dynamic Pricing Salt.

Thank you

They should do it instantly

s2member uses 1 form, so if you have one level at 29.95 and another at 75.95 you would need a dynamic form in order to switch between 29.95 and 75.95, so your price is only ‘fixed’ by level not by transaction

Posted: Friday Aug 31st, 2012 at 1:08 pm #23724

Yes I know but as your using s2member so thats no good, You only use their code if you want them to take care of protecting your pages and user management. If you don’t use s2members code it won’t know when somebody makes a purchase.

Start a new support message(use the live one, as it can be done there and then) Say your creating forms dynamically so need one with dynamic pricing

Posted: Friday Aug 31st, 2012 at 11:11 am #23708

Yes I thinks its fine to minify/combine and serve the CSS from a CDN, but you can’t do anything with the javascript including the combine and CDN feature.

Hi Brian,

The button generator is under:

Dashboard -› s2Member® -› ccBill® Options

Named

ccBill® Buttons

There you can make your ‘join now’ buttons for each level by filling in price etc then pressing the ‘Generate Button Code’ button, that will produce a shortcode at the bottom like

[s2Member-Pro-ccBill-Button level="1" ccaps="" desc="Bronze Member / Description and pricing details here." cc="USD" custom="yoursite.com" ta="0" tp="0" tt="D" ra="2.95" rp="1" rt="M" rr="1" image="default" output="anchor" /]

Which you copy and paste into your page/post where required.

As for the form, log into your ccbill account and start the live chat thing, tell them you need a form with ‘Dynamic Pricing’ this is crucial, then ask them what the name of the form is, it will be something like ‘146cc’ or ‘921cc’. Enter the name into the field located:

Dashboard -› s2Member® -› ccBill® Options -› ccBill® Account Details -› Form ( w/ Dynamic Pricing )

save the changes and you should be just about ready to go.
