We got the same email. Is there an official answer from s2member if this affects anything?

It does not look like it affects s2member customers, but I’d love to check with you guys first.

We’ve been working with WP Engine on this.

We have the issue narrowed down to their object caching and things are working with it off now.

Going forward, we’d like to offer to help you troubleshoot by creating a new sandbox instance and create a sandbox paypal account to duplicate the production environment.

Are you guys able then to jump in and help us troubleshoot and resolve these issues for other WP Engine customers?

I have an open ticket with WP engine as well but now we are getting reports that even with the object cache off, folks are having issues.

We are hosted with WP Engine and we can’t just turn of their caching. Are there any reported issues with WP Engine at this time?

We got it to work if we turned off the object cache at our host. We are testing to see if this is the root cause.

Hi Eduan!

You inspired me. So when writing the welcome page you need to include an OR in your conditional for the admin to see it.

Example: [s2If current_user_is(s2member_level0) OR current_user_is(administrator)]
