I’ve just tried again.
I used a gmail account to buy
email log recoded the message passing pasword to user but it never arrived!!
Aarrgghh!
Now I’m going to try again with a non gmail address.

yes I did that a couple of time but logged out and tried again

No I had not installed the WP Mail SMTP but I have now and it still doesn’t work. However, I have to admit to
being completely confused about the required entries so I used a gmail account and copied the example exactly.
when it failed it send me a debugging output file which I have sent to you separately.

I have done this in paypal optuions some time ago AND also in clickbank options which is where I’m putting the sales through.
in plugins/s2member-logs there are 2 clickbank logs and 2 paypal logs, presume you just need te clickbank ones ? As they are not formatted they are not very readbale, is there any way I can send these to you privately ?

re” 2) they never received the email with their password in it.

Please see Knowledge Base » Troubleshooting Email Delivery Problems for help diagnosing email issues.”

I have done everything on that page but no email arrives and the log says so emails
I had already set logging on in the paypal options/account and the same in the clickbank options but still no emails.

link to the page where I’m using the button shortcode?
http://www.fasttrackyouronlinesuccess.com/664-2/
bit of a messy page but I am using the short code and if only I could change the short code attributes I would be using this button http://www.fasttrackyouronlinesuccess.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/yellow-buy-now.png

Posted: Thursday Apr 5th, 2012 at 11:11 am #10156

there is only something called “other integrations” not other gateways and withing that there is only bbpress !!

Posted: Thursday Apr 5th, 2012 at 6:32 am #10138

thankyou for the “own image” information but you have not answered my original query
AARRGGH!

if I go to Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Buttons there is only “shortcde attributes explned” not something that lets me change them. Is this something I shuold have from teh upgrade and perhaps it hasn’t upgraded ?

Posted: Thursday Apr 5th, 2012 at 2:52 am #10123

Yes I can confirm I have configured all of those options.
the site is http://www.fasttrackyouronlinesuccess.com

login details are
http://www.fasttrackyouronlinesuccess.com/wp-admin
username ********
password ********

by the way I like to use my own buy now button but I can’t do this witht eh short code. Any way around this as it seems using the raw code ( where I could replace the src url) alsop doesn’t wprk but simply goes to paypal login then displays history without going to pay.

yes you’re right, I had level 0 on a coupple of pages as I thougth that meant anybody could see it, have removed now. Of course it goes straight to the sales page now when not logged in but perhaps it should go to a login page first. Will have to look into how I do that, thougth S2M did it automatically?

so I tried another page in the membership site and the same thing happened. This onne was restricted to level 1
