@Miranda: it’s not the first time S2member team is not answering quickly. Each times, it meaned 1.they are working on an important update 2. moderators of the forum are changed – nearly each year.
I suppose it’s one of the reason… Well, I hope.

@John: sorry if I misunderstood.

Well, I’m not from the team but the support is for problem related to the plugin. If you need some development assistance, you can hire developers outside S2member team. I did not read anything about developing projects when I paid for the plugin.

Same problem ! I made some tests with different login widgets and redirection do not work. It may be the same problem with different consequences.

Thanks. I suppose Firehost won’t change it’s policy as there will should be very few people concerned but who knows…

Well, as you can imagine, my webhoster is not pleased with Firehost policy. They say that it’s clearly a false positive based on DShield report: https://www.dshield.org/ipdetails.html?ip=178.32.28.120&1370
DShield clearly explains on this page that This data is suitable for research purposes and should not be used as a “blocklist” as is and my webhoster says they are solutions more subtle in using DShield datas.

Well, I’m not a specialist on this question but as I understand, Firehost may consider regular servers as hackers. So, I have no luck on this particular case and they may be other customers facing the same problem in future.

OK, I will warn them but as it looks like a serious webhoster (https://www.alwaysdata.com/), I’m a little surprised.

OK, thank you.

Look at S2membere>API scripting > Simple Shortcode Conditional (or PHP Conditional). Everything is explained here with examples. But you cannot use div class for it :-)

Look in Google at “moving a wordpress site”. There are a lot of tutorials. There will be no problem if you keep safe one or two of your original database – every informations are stored in database. And a copy of “wp-content” directory of course.

Vous avez copié les fichiers dans le répertoire ?

You can find it in the pro version of the plugin.

De rien, merci pour le retour :-)

When translation finished, you just have to make a Ctrl+S. PoEdit will generate a .po and a .mo file.
For mirroring translation, I have no idea of the result. You should try to find what the strings mean but S2member team is not very helpful for this. Well, try the last order and with a little luck, somebody will warn you if he meets the error.

Yes, on a shared webhost. I will see next update if it works or not.

Eveything is OK with the Check Tool.

Yes, I did update by FTP. I wanted just to tell about this strange error message.

The real problem with this “solution” is that the download links can be shared…

Posted: Wednesday Jun 20th, 2012 at 5:50 am #16982

Well, you could use the template functions of S2member to show or hide the downloads.

There is still a little problem: the date is showing in english. But, well, it’s not an important problem…

Great ! It works very nice :-) Thank you !

Well, it’s NOT empty :-) The test member I created had a one year subscription. EOT: Tue Jun 4, 2013 9:16 am UTC

I do not use Codestyling Localization anymore: the plugin is nice for simple translation but cannot detect if an already translated sentence is changed in a new version. So, I noticed that some of my translations were incomplete.

I agree with Cassel. You have to create content linking to protected pages. I think there is no other solution related to seach engines – I’m not sure you understood the philosophy about search engines :-)

Posted: Friday May 25th, 2012 at 10:14 am #14597

Well, you can hide only a part of your content. But it’s impossible to get the content indexed AND hidden to non members. Google looks for content what is visible to the public. I don’t think you will like to use a search engine giving you links to pages you cannot read…

Posted: Friday May 25th, 2012 at 2:57 am #14533

Strange question: what do you want to index ? Not the hidden content I suppose. What is hidden will not be indexed – God thanks ! Only the public stuff is visible to the bots.
