Hi
I tried the google things several times, and facebook, but no luck.

As I am the site developer for vetkuws, would it be possible for someone at s2member to forward my request to the member, Ted Mosher, that I would like to connect with? If I didn’t hear from him, that would be my answer and I’ll keep looking.

If it’s ok I will pm my contact details to be passed on to him

Thanks
Roger

Hi
I’ve looked in the db in wp_usermeta and there is not row: s2member_auto_eot_time

There are only 4 columns. umeta_id, user_id, meta_key, meta_value

I can only find this: wp_s2member_custom_fields under meta_key and it appears to have the custom fields data in it.

As I’m not any good at writing code, would it be possible to get a simple example of the php you suggest I use?

Thanks for your help

Hi Bruce
Thanks. Where is the “normal” place that s2 will save the custom fields? Can’t find any new custom fields in any table in the db.

Ok, been looking at the custom api and related, never done this before so not sure. Still big question, I can’t see any instructions on how to get the data from the custom fields, even with using an api, into the mysql db. Needs to be in it to produce the charts the client wants.

Hi Don, an odd thing. I thought it might have been email user plugin as it was the only one I’ve added recently. Whatever it was, glad it’s gone away now!

Bruce
Odd. I enabled each plugin one at a time, filled in the form and got the correct email with UN and PW. I also completed the form without making any changes to some of the default items in several dropdown boxes.
Everything worked fine.
You can see the form at http://vetkuws.com click the register button. If you’d like to give it a try I’ll see if it works for you. use adminbruce so I can find it quickly in the user list.
Thanks for your help with this, I was getting worried as I’ve convinced my client to leave the site live now.
Really getting to like s2, and the support!

Hi Bruce
Thanks for the quick reply. Disabled all plugins except s2, used default WP theme, did the registration and the email with login details arrived almost immediately.

Must be one of the plugins. Odd, I only have 9 in use, most of them are recommended for use on s2.

I’ll reactivate them one by one to see it the trouble maker can be isolated.

Hi
Close this topic. I found the answer in s2 Restrictions and inFocus blog.

Hi
Don’t bother with this, I’ve found a workaround with aweber. I would like to have used level one for free members, ones that have completed a full registration, but seems it can’t be done. Or at least, I can’t make s2 do it.
Will be ok when paid customers starts.

Found the answer, thanks.

Hi Christian
Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / List Servers -› AWeber® I have 2 levels:

0 = free, all subscribers are added to this list, list-serv = equine-vetkuws
1 = free, only subscribers who wish to receive the monthly newsletter, list-serv = free-vetkuws

The email address for the lists at AWeber are “equine-vetkuws@aweber.com” and “free-vetkuws@aweber.com”

What I can’t find is where to enter the full aweber email addresses for the lists so the data gets sent to aweber when the submit button is clicked on the form.

Could you provide an example of a redirection code to use on the “membership options” page to redirect to the “registration page”?
At this time there are no paid levels so don’t need the PayPal buttons.

FYI
“Reverse DNS record, PTR, or pointer record” = Confirmed with hosting and it is on server
BCC s2 script installed and working, the api file has data from last practice.
Test email at AWeber done and parsed correctly.
I got a ‘New Member” email sent to my admin address, and the bcc one as well
The new member was added to the local database, but NOT to either of the AWeber ones.
“Open Registration” set to YES, allow all at level 0.

Is it possible, or ok, to use contact form 7 to develop a new form?

Thanks for your help
