Thanks, Mike, a bit too labor intense for my current needs, but it is good to know it’s possible.

Hi Bruce,

Thanks much for a clear answer, and for uprating to management.

Naturally, from out here this seems like it would be a pretty simple addition to the payment notification.
S2 must be logging start date, and from there it’s a counting function, either months or payments received.

Oddly, this would really make S2 stand out from its competition, as (perhaps?) the only WP member software with fulfillment notification for physical deliverables.
It could be quite useful, too, for other purposes like sending a special thank you gift (chocolates, anyone? :) on anniversary dates.

Best Regards,
Tom

Thanks, Raam, that’s very clear and reminds me to check that setting – I don’t really want to ever lose a member’s contact info. :-)

Thanks, yes, the linked article did make is clear when I saw that the only option if one uses PayPal Pro is to include the Recurring Payments function.

If I may suggest it, using the phrase “Pay Pal Pro with Recurring Payments” to describe the set up needed for S2 Pro rather than just “PayPal Pro” would be much more complete.

Oops. Let me clarify. I have S2 Pro, and that is what my question refers to: do I need PP recurring payments if I have S2 pro?

Please correct me if I’m wrong. I thought S2 handled the recurring payments so I wouldn’t need the PayPal Pro Recurring Payments function at an extra $30 a month.

Thanks, this is clear and answers a question that was bugging me, too, for the same reason: I want to keep my promises to my customers!
Also, this makes it possible to test different prices and offers without a lot of headache.
