I don’t know how you did it but I owe you:-)

I’m actually pretty sure his issue is valid as I have the same thing. I have a Dutch version of WordPress on my site and even there bits of the “s2member” form is in English.

It just seems that I cannot make s2member (or probably WordPress) take the Dutch language file for s2member. This Dutch file seems to have errors as Poedit states the original file has errors. Maybe WordPress just ignores the file all together because of this.

Both errors I’m getting when trying to translate with Codestyling Localization plugin. Even when I deactivated all other plugins.
Yesterday I downloaded the latest files on your site again and tried to translate the .pot-file with Poedit. Getting errors there still, so this is totally apart from WordPress.
I did get a file out though (both a .mo and .po) which seemed to be totally ignored when I put it in the same directory as the .pot-file (don’t have the files here, but naming it s2member-nl_NL.po/mo or whatever it should be called, I checked so I would have the name right anyway).
Did a new translation with Poedit for just “remember me” which is in the s2 widget, and nothing.

Codestyling Localization is happily translating all the other (few) plugins I have without problems except for s2member which gives all errors as stated in your post above.

As all other plugins seem to take the Dutch files, I presume the s2member should also take the Dutch files.

The only thing I can think of now is that I use the wrong name for the .mo/.po files but Codestyling Localization generated the file with a name which I then presume is right. After creating it, it refuses to open it because of the errors described above.

So when you say that you could not reproduce the errors, do you mean you have Codestyling Localization installed och checked it there?

I have a Dutch version of WordPress, so no “clean-standard, english” install, but this still doesn’t explain the errors I’m getting from Poedit.

Amen

If you don’t know the answer, I’d like to know that too… right now I’m getting quite frustrated as I cannot possibly translate the whole file in one as I don’t have the time for that. I’m not the only one having this problem doing it in a different language.

Tried to find an answer myself but instead I ended up with more people having the same issue asking YOU about it without getting an answer either. Would be great if you could get this fixed asap.

See same questions in following topics:

It seems to be more than just my problem.

I hadn’t seen the reply in my mailbox:-)
I deactivated all other plugins, i changed the theme and still the same errors.
I found one extra error though connected to s2member which was there before but didn’t see it:

PHP runtime error reporting detected !
Reason: some executed PHP code is not written proper | Originator: onbekend (probably by Theme or Plugin)
Below listed error reports has been traced and removed during page creation:

Hi!
Tried to translate the file with poedit, which was fine if I translated it all in once (which I didn’t and don’t want to start over from zero). Got an error. Then found this post and was happy to see that Codestyling Localization works great on all the plugins except for s2member.
Is the (my) pot-file corrupted/what can I do??

Getting this error:

Error: The actual loaded translation content does not match the textdomain: s2member
Expect, that any text you translate will not occure as long as the textdomain is mismatching!
This is a coding issue at the source files you try to translate, please contact the original Author and explain this mismatch.

Warning: The actual loaded translation content contains mixed textdomains and is not pure translateable within one textdomain.
It seems, that there is code contained extracted out of other plugins, themes or widgets and used by copy & paste inside some source files.
The affected unknown textdomains are: ?

I was looking for something similar and couldn’t find anything about it (but maybe I’m a lousy searcher?). It’s just that I want different forms for the same level. Or, different forms in general.

I have a page which allows singles or families to register. I don’t want to bother the singles with partner-information. I preferably don’t want to bother people without children with the children-information.
But all will still have the same access to content, and therefore, the same level.

If they are family, then the partner-information is required, if single, it’s not (obviously).
If they have kids, the kids info is required.

To divide between singles and families, I put up ccaps.

Is there any way to put up these different forms? Of course the general information is the same with all of them and information should also be able to change over time so the changing forms should contain all information available.
