Hello Jamie, No that wouldn’t be necessary, ccaps are independent from levels, just make sure that pages are not protected with levels. :) Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Vishnu, Well I’m afraid this isn’t possible with s2Member. :/ Probably isn’t possible with PayPal even, remember that anything that s2Member does to a member (EOT related and stuff) all comes from PayPal, PayPal tells s2Member what to do, so if PayPal doesn’t tell s2Member (or any other program for that matter) it can’t really do it. I’m just thinking out loud here, but what if you hacked s2Member so that if the user doesn’t come with a special key (with which the user will come if he payed correctly) he will be demoted. That’s all I can think of to accomplish this. – Eduan |

Check in the configurations for the widget (you can access them upon clicking the widget [in the admin area for widgets]), in there change the Signup Now field to the URL with the page that has the button or pro-form that you want to use. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Brad, If you have the pro version of s2Member then there is a parameter you can pass in to pro-forms which implements a CAPTCHA field, although there are plugins like Blue Captcha (recommended) that do this with all the forms, although this plugin doesn’t integrate with pro-forms. Hope this helps. :) |

So what happens if you try getting into the login welcome page (it’s where you would put this code) as a level 1 user? A level 2 user? This won’t work on admins or any other levels. Make sure that the URLs point to the correct URLs where you want to send the users, the first URL will be for level 1 users and the second will be for level 2 users. – Eduan |

Hello Arjen, No this is not possible from what I know, you could however just tell the author of that other plugin to fix that problem, seeing how it’s not a wanted behavior. ;) |

OK, so if he decides to not pay, automatically deactivate his account? I’m sorry, you’re not being clear enough so I’m kinda guessing it. :/ |

Hello Lisa, That would be your login welcome page, it would allow you to redirect level 0 users back to the membership options page like you wanted. :) |

Hello Arjen, This really isn’t a problem s2Member introduces, if you disable s2Member, does this behavior remain? |

So basically, you don’t want him to cancel his payment once he’s started? |

Hello Cristián, thanks for pointing that out, I changed it to use a JavaScript redirect, and also fixed the conditional. I also fixed your conditional the first time Philly, thought it was wrong, but I studied a little bit and I was wrong. I put it back, sorry. – Eduan |

Hello Vishnu, Well, if a user chose to pay, and then at the end he turned back on the idea, then the charge simply wasn’t made and the user won’t have the access he was going to pay for. Does this answer your question? |
