Hello Shawn, thanks for the update! Glad you were able to solve it. :) Yes it is the second time that has been reported, changing the index.php filename and it affecting the website. :) |

Hello Charles, You would use PHP conditionals for this: Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Advanced PHP Conditionals, you would insert those in the area where you want to protect your content. Hope this helps. :) |

The support devs haven’t really given any stable release date per say, but it appears like there will be a beta soon (I estimate a month or two). |

That is correct. :) It always adds if the user doesn’t already have it. |

No problem. :) I think you got the bit that needs editing right, now you just need to find the array where that registration URL is stored and change that, this is what I can gather from bit of code you gave me. :) |

Hello Jana, I’m not sure what could cause this, it certainly isn’t s2Member for all we know, since this is a first if I remember right. Do you think you have the logs of that transaction? You can find the logs under wp-content/plugins/s2member-logs. Please X out any personal or private information and post it here, inside the <code></code> tags. If that folder doesn’t exist, or there’s nothing there, then please enable logging under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Account Details -› Logging. If there isn’t anything, then there isn’t really any way to know what the problem was. :/ – Eduan |

Not really sure, I would have to study WordPress and the plugin a little bit. You can always just make a backup of the original plugin and modify it as you wish, and test it out, and if you can’t find it, you just have to load the backup. :) – Eduan |

Hello Jordi, You would simply make a comma separated list of them:
This by default would simply add them, so if the user already has the ccap, he would just add the rest of them. You can also remove all of the user’s ccaps like so:
This should remove all of the user’s ccaps, and then add the ones found here, if I’m not mistaken. Hope this helps. :) |

Although the full documentation is available there, it basically tells s2Member to send some special parameters to that URL you specify. As a non-related question, are you a developer? |

You can make s2Member send a call to a URL (or send an email) under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Notifications -› EOT/Deletion Notifications. The thing is you would have to make a hack that generates the email you need when s2Member calls it. Hope this helps. :) |

OK Stephen, You can always ask in the pre-sale questions, and ask everything you want to know before buying s2Member for sure, and the support devs will answer you and help you achieve what you want. :) There is always the option of modifying that plugin in order for it to work like you want. ;) Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Stephanie, Yes this is possible with s2Member. You would use custom capabilities (ccaps for short), which you can find documentation for under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Custom Capabilities. Also, Jason made a video about ccaps: Video » s2Member (Custom Capabilities) Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Veronica, Well, if your website is only gonna be available in french then french is not a bad option, since that way anybody that knows french would be able to use the website. On the other hand, if you use the english version then people will be able to help you better, since most people that use WordPress is english. Hope this helps. :) |

I’m sorry Vishnu, I don’t have a Skype. You would need to edit s2Member itself to accomplish this though. I suggest you post your job request for a freelancer to look at, at jobs.wordpress.net. Hope this helps. :) |

Great! Glad I was able to help. :) You might be interested in making a little hack that recognizes the user’s level before the content loads, the reason there is that flash before redirecting is before it has to load it in order to redirect the user, and since it’s in the page’s content it won’t really be loaded until almost at the end. Just something to think about. :) |

Oh I’m sorry Stephen, For some reason I took for granted you were a paid member. I’m sorry, only the pro version of s2Member has the s2Member login widget, and only it allows you to modify the registration page (from those I know). :/ |
