Hi, Moderators I have contacted Paypal three times, and each time they tried to help to solve this problem, they said its because I did not input the correct API values. I have after each communication done and triple check the values but the test purchase always produce the same error. (Error #10002. Security error. Security header is not valid.) I have another three S2M installations and I did not have any problems before. Please somebody help.. Even if someone who wish to be paid for the time to help me sort this out. Thanks Thanks |

Hi Jason, Thanks for your reply. It should be /s2member/includes/classes/ folder. I just did a replacement file on this faulty installation and see what will happen, however, I just checked, my other installation works well, even though it is on the same server, and has the same “old” paypal-utilities.inc.php file.. So not sure if that is going to help.. I will update this thread though.. Thanks Allan |

Raam, I did a comparison of my other functioning site, I noticed everything from both functioning and non functioing website’s log look similar up until the ‘s2member_log’ … The ipn log for recurring payment (functioning 100%) would look like the following. ‘s2member_log’ => Compared to the non functioning recurring IPN log from the (Payment notification not functioning) website. as per below….. ‘s2member_log’ => What do I need to do in your opinion? Thanks

Hi Raam, It seems that IPN log shows that the recurring payments IPNs were received but S2M log says they have been ignored.. that explains why no payment notification sent.. See below.. The 1st set is the initial signup log.. which triggers the notifications… And the 2nd set is the recurring one which did not trigger the email notification. Please help… PHP v5.2.9 :: WordPress® v3.4.1 :: s2Member® v120703 :: s2Member® Pro v120703 PHP v5.2.9 :: WordPress® v3.4.1 :: s2Member® v120703 :: s2Member® Pro v120703 |

Hi Raam, The log shows that the recurring payments are in… Paypal IPN was sent to /wp-content/plugins/s2member-logs/paypal-ipn.log …. Any clue why it is not triggered? I mean, I get the new members payments’ Payment notification emails.. just not the recurring ones.. Any suggestions or help? |

Thanks Cristian, I found the way to do it.. s2Member® / PayPal® Buttons > Button Code Generator For Level #2 Access > drag and select (Buy Now) , One time, non recurring, no free trial, lifetime. Tested, and it works. initial subscription not interupted. Its my over look that failed to identify that.. It must be the tiredness from all the setting up.. Thanks Cristian.. Have a great weekend.. So does that means, by changing the rr to bn, I can edit the button to promote from lvl 1 to lvl 2 with that button? |

Hi Cristian, Yes.. you got the scenario correct now… The trouble/issue bit is, right now, S2M ‘s interpretation of upgrade from lvl 1 to lvl 2 requires a new subcription (I tried to create the button and cannot find the suitable criteria that will fit what I want ) Is it something that S2M can look into ??? |

Hi Cristian, I am not sure if I am not explaining correctly or we are missing something here. I do not want 2 con-current subscription for Member A. I just want Member A to

Cristian, No, its actually the opposite of what I want. what I want is more like I leave his initial subcription untouched… I have lvl 1 which is $300 for 6 months of private access to website, with a recurring of $300 every 6 months. I have lvl 2 which is $699 for 6 months of private access to website, with a recurring of $300 every 6 months. But this one comes with an extra downloadable product. What I would like is: Scenario – Member A starts lvl 1 on 1st August 2012. and on 10 Sept 2012, decides that he wants the product. I want to create a Paypal (Proform, whichever) Button him to pay $399 one time fee, and allows him to be automatically promoted to lvl 2 upon payment, without affecting his current subscription. HOw can I be able to do that? Thanks. |

Hi Cristian, If member A just paid $300 for six months of service today, and decides to upgrade next week.. How can I make him pay $399 and promote him to become lvl 3 and yet let his existing subscription with Paypal continues? I think that is my main technical part which I cannot figure out. Thanks |

Hi Cristian, So i know that i can create a specific post payment button and let him pay $399, then manually promote him by going intto his user profile. But i just thought if its possible to have that function in s2member automated.
