You can also try to adjust your s2member-pro-form accept command.

[s2Member-Pro-PayPal-Form ... accept="paypal,visa,mastercard,amex,discover,maestro,solo" ...]

change into only paypal

[s2Member-Pro-PayPal-Form ... accept="paypal" ...]

Then you will accept only paypal payment and no creditcards.

maybe it was helpful :-)

Hi Frank,

i’ll will try to explain what i mean.

With the s2member pro form you can simple made an in page order form. The visitor wouldn’t leave your page.

[s2Member-Pro-PayPal-Form... ]
s2Member-Pro-PayPal-Form level="1" ccaps="" desc="$24.95 USD / Quarterly ( recurring charge, for ongoing access )" ps="paypal" lc="" cc="USD" dg="0" ns="1" custom="localhost" ta="0" tp="0" tt="D" ra="24.95" rp="3" rt="M" rr="1" rrt="" rra="2" accept="paypal,visa,mastercard,amex,discover,maestro,solo" accept_via_paypal="paypal" coupon="" accept_coupons="0" default_country_code="" captcha="0" /

Let say you have a page with pricing tables (the membership options page).

Page name -> yoururl.tld/myoffers/

on that page there is a pricing table with three membership options and a short info what they get.

option table ->

offer/length monthly quarterly yearly
free item 5 20 70
great article include included included
ans so on
price info $14.95
(order buttom)
with link to monthly page
$39.95
(oder buttom)
with link to quarterly page
$69
(order buttom)
with link to yearly page

Page name -> yoururl.tld/myoffers/monthly

on that page just paste the s2 pro form snippet for monthly membership and ready.

[s2Member-Pro-PayPal-Form... ]
s2Member-Pro-PayPal-Form level="1" ccaps="" desc="$24.95 USD / Quarterly ( recurring charge, for ongoing access )" ps="paypal" lc="" cc="USD" dg="0" ns="1" custom="localhost" ta="0" tp="0" tt="D" ra="24.95" rp="3" rt="M" rr="1" rrt="" rra="2" accept="paypal,visa,mastercard,amex,discover,maestro,solo" accept_via_paypal="paypal" coupon="" accept_coupons="0" default_country_code="" captcha="0" /

Page name -> yoururl.tld/myoffers/quarterly

on that page just paste the s2 pro form snippet for quarterly membership and ready.

[s2Member-Pro-PayPal-Form... ]
s2Member-Pro-PayPal-Form level="1" ccaps="" desc="$24.95 USD / Quarterly ( recurring charge, for ongoing access )" ps="paypal" lc="" cc="USD" dg="0" ns="1" custom="localhost" ta="0" tp="0" tt="D" ra="24.95" rp="3" rt="M" rr="1" rrt="" rra="2" accept="paypal,visa,mastercard,amex,discover,maestro,solo" accept_via_paypal="paypal" coupon="" accept_coupons="0" default_country_code="" captcha="0" /

Page name -> yoururl.tld/myoffers/yearly

on that page just paste the s2 pro form snippet for yearly membership and ready.

[s2Member-Pro-PayPal-Form... ]
s2Member-Pro-PayPal-Form level="1" ccaps="" desc="$24.95 USD / Quarterly ( recurring charge, for ongoing access )" ps="paypal" lc="" cc="USD" dg="0" ns="1" custom="localhost" ta="0" tp="0" tt="D" ra="24.95" rp="3" rt="M" rr="1" rrt="" rra="2" accept="paypal,visa,mastercard,amex,discover,maestro,solo" accept_via_paypal="paypal" coupon="" accept_coupons="0" default_country_code="" captcha="0" /

If you have more options you can expand this of course.

i hope it has become a bit clearer.

Hi Melissa,

try to increase your PHP memory size of your hosting account to 64M or more.
If you cann access php.ini search “memory_limit = 16M” on most servers this is the default value.

Can’t edit the php.ini you can add a line into the wordpress config file “wp-config.php

simple add one the folling line to …

…increase PHP Memory to 64MB

define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M');

…increase PHP Memory to 96MB

define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '96M');

Hope this will help :)

The s2pro version of the plugin has a really nice form for that.

The customer can fill out the form direct on your page.

Have a look at the s2pro site and expand this PayPal® Pro Form Integration (Most Popular)

Hi Craig,

why not choose a simple way.

You simple add three new pages.

decisivebetting.com/membership/Monthly

decisivebetting.com/membership/Quarterly

decisivebetting.com/membership/Yearly

On this pages use the s2 generated paypal forms

[s2Member-PayPal-Button level="1" ccaps="" desc="Monthly Subscription / £10 Recurring" ps="paypal" lc="" cc="GBP" dg="0" ns="1" custom="decisivebetting.com" ta="10" tp="1" tt="M" ra="10" rp="1" rt="M" rr="1" rrt="" rra="1" image="default" output="url" /]

Then insert into your pricing table buttons the following urls.

http://decisivebetting.com/membership/Monthly

http://decisivebetting.com/membership/Quarterly

http://decisivebetting.com/membership/Yearly

This could be the easy way.

Hi Heather,

on the website you submit the pricing is a simple picture.

There are tons of “Pricing Table Plugins” you can use.
Some are free and some cost a few dollors.

Hope this will help.

Hi jakob,

you can try this plugin WordPress User Role Editor here

Description

With User Role Editor WordPress plugin you can change user role (except Administrator) capabilities easy, with a few clicks. Just turn on check boxes of capabilities you wish to add to the selected role and click “Update” button to save your changes. That’s done. Add new roles and customize its capabilities according to your needs, from scratch of as a copy of other existing role. Unnecessary self-made role can be deleted if there are no users whom such role is assigned. Role assigned every new created user by default may be changed too. Capabilities could be assigned on per user basis. You can add new capabilities and remove unnecessary capabilities which could be left from uninstalled plugins. Multi-site support is provided.

this should help

your code need to be inside the div command.

<div class="menu-main-navigation-container">
<ul id="menu-main-navigation" class="menu">
<li id="menu-item-64" class="menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page current-menu-item page_item page-item-20 current_page_item menu-item-64"><a href="http://networkmarketingsystem.mikelowndes.com/">Home Page</a></li>

</ul>
</div>

<li class="menu" id="menu-item"><?php wp_loginout(); ?></li>
</ul>

hope that will help you

Hi,

you can do that with ccaps. Then you will only need one level

All (paid) members get level 1 access

“level 0” – free

— no ccap needed
they will have access to level 0 (subscriber) of course

“level 1” – (only post level1 and level0)

— ccap = lvlone
they will have access to level 0 & 1 and also to ccaps content named “lvlone”

“level 2” – (only post level2 and level0)

— ccap = lvltwo
they will have access to level 0 & 1 and also to ccaps content named “lvltwo” but not “lvlone” ccap

“level 3” – (only post level3)

— ccap = lvlthree
they will have access to level 0 & 1 and also to ccaps content named “lvlthree” but not “lvlone” or “lvltwo” ccap

Of course you can rename all that ccaps.

hope that will help you

Hi again,

you can just put this snippet in your theme where you wish to display that “Log in | Log Out” function.

If you want it in your header next to the menu (perhaps)

Just have a look in your theme folder for the file “header.php” -> edit this file by inserting this peace of code

<?php wp_loginout(); ?>

In the default theme (twenty eleven) for example
showing only the lines 128 to 136 from “header.php”

128. <nav id="access" role="navigation">
129. <h3 class="assistive-text"><?php _e( 'Main menu', 'twentyeleven' ); ?></h3>
130. <?php /* Allow screen readers / text browsers to skip the navigation menu and get right to the good stuff. */ ?>
131. <div class="skip-link"><a class="assistive-text" href="#content" title="<?php esc_attr_e( 'Skip to primary content', 'twentyeleven' ); ?>"><?php _e( 'Skip to primary content', 'twentyeleven' ); ?></a></div>
132. <div class="skip-link"><a class="assistive-text" href="#secondary" title="<?php esc_attr_e( 'Skip to secondary content', 'twentyeleven' ); ?>"><?php _e( 'Skip to secondary content', 'twentyeleven' ); ?></a></div>
133. <?php /* Our navigation menu. If one isn't filled out, wp_nav_menu falls back to wp_page_menu. The menu assigned to the primary location is the one used. If one isn't assigned, the menu with the lowest ID is used. */ ?>
134. <?php wp_nav_menu( array( 'theme_location' => 'primary' ) ); ?>
135. </nav><!-- #access -->
136. </header><!-- #branding -->

you can paste it between 134-135

...
134. <?php wp_nav_menu( array( 'theme_location' => 'primary' ) ); ?>
134.5 <!-- here --><?php wp_loginout(); ?><!-- here -->
135. </nav><!-- #access -->
136. </header><!-- #branding -->
...

hope it helps

Posted: Friday Oct 19th, 2012 at 10:16 am #29018

me again, :)

on wordpress codex site is a complete guide. here

Register Menus

Firstly, in your theme’s functions.php, you need to write a function to register the names of your menus. (This is how they will appear in the Appearance -> Menus admin screen.) As an example, this menu would appear in the “Theme Locations” box as “Header Menu”.

function register_my_menus() {
  register_nav_menus(
    array( 'header-menu' => __( 'Header Menu' ) )
  );
}
add_action( 'init', 'register_my_menus' );

And this would make two menu options appear, header menu and extra menu

function register_my_menus() {
  register_nav_menus(
    array(
      'header-menu' => __( 'Header Menu' ),
      'extra-menu' => __( 'Extra Menu' )
    )
  );
}
add_action( 'init', 'register_my_menus' );

Display Menus on Theme

<?php wp_nav_menu( array( 'theme_location' => 'header-menu' ) ); ?>

additional information have a look at: http://codex.wordpress.org/Navigation_Menus

try it it’s not so hard :)

Posted: Friday Oct 19th, 2012 at 10:07 am #29013

Hi Mike,

maybe you can set up two menus.

One for visitors and the other one for members.

<?php
if ( is_user_logged_in() ) {
   wp_nav_menu( array( 'theme_location' => 'members' ) );
} else {
   wp_nav_menu( array( 'theme_location' => 'visitors' ) );
}
?>

You can put that code in your theme header.php file where the old menu is.

hope it helps

Feel free to modify.

Hope this will help you.

feel free to do it :)

Posted: Sunday Sep 9th, 2012 at 8:37 am #24687

Hi,

you can do all of that with different registration forms and the “ccap” command in it.

“TIP: Unlimited Membership Levels are only possible with s2Member Pro. However, Custom Capabilities are possible in all versions of s2Member, including the free version. Custom Capabilities are a great way to extend s2Member in creative ways. If you’re an advanced site owner, a theme designer, or a web developer integrating s2Member for a client, please check your Dashboard, under: s2Member -> API Scripting -> Custom Capabilities. We also recommend the s2Member Codex.”

If you would name your ccaps like this:

Subscriber Single V1 -> singlev1
Subscriber Single V2 -> singlev3
Subscriber Single V3 -> singlev3

This is how you get control of the protected content.

<!-- Subscriber Single V1 with ccap name "singlev1" -->
[s2If current_user_can(access_s2member_ccap_singlev1)]
    Display Subscriber Single V1 here.
    This Member has access to a Custom Capability that supplies Subscriber Single V1.
[/s2If]

<!-- Subscriber Single V2 with ccap name "singlev2" -->
[s2If current_user_can(access_s2member_ccap_singlev2)]
    Display Subscriber Single V2 here.
    This Member has access to a Custom Capability that supplies Subscriber Single V2.
[/s2If]

<!-- Subscriber Single V3 with ccap name "singlev3" -->
[s2If current_user_can(access_s2member_ccap_singlev3)]
    Display Subscriber Single V3 here.
    This Member has access to a Custom Capability that supplies Subscriber Single V3.
[/s2If]

If you would name your ccaps like this:

Subscriber Multi V1 -> multiv1
Subscriber Multi V2 -> multiv2
Subscriber Multi V3 -> multiv3

This is how you get control of the protected content.

<!-- Subscriber Multi V1 with ccap name "multiv1" -->
[s2If current_user_can(access_s2member_ccap_multiv1)]
    Display Subscriber Multi V1 here.
    This Member has access to a Custom Capability that supplies Subscriber Multi V1.
[/s2If]

<!-- Subscriber Multi V2 with ccap name "multiv2" -->
[s2If current_user_can(access_s2member_ccap_multiv2)]
    Display Subscriber Single V2 here.
    This Member has access to a Custom Capability that supplies Subscriber Multi V2.
[/s2If]

<!-- Subscriber Multi V3 with ccap name "multiv3" -->
[s2If current_user_can(access_s2member_ccap_multiv3)]
    Display Subscriber Multi V3 here.
    This Member has access to a Custom Capability that supplies Subscriber Multi V3.
[/s2If]

hope it helps.

	?>
	</div>
</div>
<!-- BAR END -->

After that you need to customize your style.css

hope it helps

Hi,

i used this snippet to display the EOT

<h6>Account ends on:
<?php
$eotdate = new DateTime("@$s2member_auto_eot_time");
echo $eotdate->format('d-M-Y');
?></h6>

But you will need to capture those members without having an eot in the variable. “$s2member_auto_eot_time”

Maybe it helps
