Hi Susan. I suggest you take a look at the success attribute for the button, to customize the page they are returned to. I hope that helps. :) |

Hi Michele. You may want to read this post by Jason: I’m not sure how to give Specific Page access through that API, and don’t know how to add SP access to an account using PHP, but I do know how to let someone into an SP restriction if he has a certain level or custom capability. Specific Page access is really valuable to sell access without requiring an account. If you’re creating an account, though, you may prefer to stick to custom capabilities. I hope that helps! :) By the way, the coming major release of s2Member is planned to have a very improved API to integrate with new gateways and to manage accounts. |

Hi Shawn. This isn’t something s2Member doesn’t support, really. That said, I’ve known users who edited s2Member’s roles to add the capabilities they wanted to give them and thus customize this kind of thing. We’ve recommended trying the User Role Editor plugin. Here’s the roles and capabilities documentation: I hope that helps. :) |

Hi Michael. No, not yet, I’m afraid. We’re working on improving this in the coming major release, hopefully very soon. You could try getting the pro-form’s HTML from the page you put it in, and then use and edit that in the HTML edit tab fo the page, to add the membership choice, but I’m not sure if then the JavaScript or something else about the form will work properly or not, you’d need to test it. |

Maybe, yes. It will depend on whether or not Jason managed to include it by the time of release, but this is something we’re definitely looking at and want to make possible, if not in that very release, a bit later. |

Jason will be able to give a more definitive answer, but although they’ll come later in the script, they may still be in time for the emails. Best thing would be to test it and see if they still work there. |

Hmm… You should have a link to add a new field there and it’d open a window with a form to create it. If you create those fields there, then you can import the values you had for them following the format explained in the Import panel. |

Hi Jose. Yes, the import tool can update existing users without changing their passwords, you’d just omit the password column. Instead of username, you’d have to add the user ID (integer) to match the user you want to update. I’m not sure if you can updated custom meta fields if they aren’t custom fields created with s2Member. I’ll ask Jason to confirm. |

Hi. :) I’ll ask Jason about it, maybe he has that saved somewhere. |

Could you post a link to the page? Or use the contact form if you’d rather not make it public. Thanks. :) |

Maybe this does what you need? [hilite pre_code]Drip content to Members that started paying you at any Level before March 16 2012 or more than 30 days ago. [/hilite] After a month you can remove the part with the date and just leave the 30 days. |

When you compare those lists between s2Member Level 1 users with a subscription ID, and the subscribers in your PayPal account, the ones that match would be fine, but do those that don’t match have something in common or something you can tell is wrong (other than the subscription mismatch between s2 and PP)? |

Hi Marc. If you’re registering via BuddyPress, then I suggest you ask them how to achieve that. They’ll be more familiar with how to customize that in BP. I hope that helps. :) |

Remember to make a backup of your customized file, cause it’ll be overwritten when you do the next update of s2Member Pro and will need to apply the changes again. ;) |

I don’t see an s2Member button there. That’s a store page with a button to add to a cart. You seem to be using a shopping cart plugin, I don’t see s2Member there. Could you show me where the s2Member button is? Thanks :) |

Adam, if you really must use WP Forum Server, as long as the forum is served by WordPress, you can try using the URI restrictions. But like Raam said, bbPress is better supported by s2Member. |

Hi Kris. You can use the pro-form without PayPal Pro, but since it’ll be through PayPal’s Express Checkout, your customer will be required to have a PayPal account. If you’re selling a subscription, that’s fine then, since PayPal Standard will require the same from him. About the registration problem, the thing is that there may be a delay from PayPal to send the payment confirmation to s2Member, so if the user already got back to your site and s2Member isn’t sure if he paid, it has to tell him he’ll get the email with the link to register. If s2Member gets the confirmation right away, then it’ll set a cookie in the user’s browser and take him to the registration page, and because of the cookie, the registration page will let him register even if you have registrations closed. For more details on what’s going on, please enable logging, test once more and after getting the problem again get the related entries from the log files, and paste them here x’ing out any private info (e.g. email address). I hope that helps. :) |
