http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/multiple-failed-login-attempts/
I have the same problem as in this thread.
I have to reset the logins several times daily now, because my users cannot login because of too many attempts to login and 30 min. penalty.
Any solution for this?

actually this is happening to all admin accounts. The admin names are not admin. So I wonder how this can be. Admin names are not shown anywhere.
So I wonder if it is possible to get the admin names some how and try to hack the login?

it is really bad how long it takes to load. More than 14 seconds and s2member is about 90% of that.

Ok…..this apparently fixed itself. Not sure how, but logging in a couple of hours later the issue was gone.

We’ve been rewriting s2Member for the past months and it’ll be much better.

Any ETA for the update?

I am having the same problem. My host is telling me reduce the stress on the cpu and users are complaining that the site is slow many times. I can see the same thing, every time a page is loaded two s2member files are loaded which is about 40%.
One guy suggested I make the two files static…I do not know what that means or if it can be done.

Nigel please report back if it works with the mu css implementation.

If I only want to translate frontend (which is what I want) I should ignore entries matching admin. How do I know what is the admin part? Is this marked in some way or how do I know what is the admin part?

@s2member
Could you add this information to http://www.s2member.com/faqs/#s2-faqs-translations
so people do not waste their time translating just to find out the file is no good?

No, did the msgid_plural after.
Did not find this thread, before I had the problem with the file.

There would not happen to be a Danish translation done somewhere?

yes, this is what I have done and I have tried to make the changes you posted. But it still gives me the error when I try to open it. I suspect that I have made a mistake somewhere, but cannot figure it out.

There is no tool that can fix a corrupt file? It has to be done manually?

I have done the translation and now my file does this error. I have tried to find the error and it seems impossible. I cannot open the file now. I have tried to upload the version that I saved, but it seems that s2meber does not recognize it, maybe because it has that error.
Tried to follow the instructions given by Jean michel. But cant make it work.
I have done the translation and spent so many hours trying to make this work.
Can I use another program to open the file or what can I do?
I am really desperate here.
Hope somebody can help.

I have setup “check out with paypal” buttons. I have set it up as subscription, then it works with that button?

what I mean is if I just move the member to level 1, will this membership automatically expire? Without making any manual adjustment to EOT in the profile.

I want to move all current members to levle 1, so they get the first 3 months for free, but they should then be moved back to level 0 after the three months. With currently 1300 members that would be a lot to manually have to go through all of them and adjust the EOT, so I need to know if their membership will automatically expire if I move them all to level 1.
