Thanks for the reply. I suppose I should connect the dots from my last support request. I’m referring to this post where I get the ugly gray register screen after checkout. I thought the success attribute would help. Can I skip this page all together somehow?

Thanks for the reply! I found the Shortcodes Explained section but do not see anything about the success attribute. Would it be a paypal setting perhaps?

Thanks, I appreciate the help.

Raam,

I see your response to Paul but I’m wondering if you, or another support rep, are going to respond to my inquiry. Eduan provided a possible solution but it looks like he’s an experienced customer, not a support rep. Do experienced customers function as support reps in this forum?

I’ve sent my customer a new link using the tinyurl option (I was using goo.gl). I’ve not heard from her yet so I don’t know if this will work or not. I did find out that she’s using a PC with Windows 7 and she’s tried accessing the program in both Firefox and IE9. I’m not sure why the link shortener service would work in some instances but not others. If tinyurl doesn’t work, what’s the next step?

Thank you.

One other thing, after the shipping started to show up, I reset the access to 1 year but it didn’t resolve the shipping charge issue.

Thanks.

Thanks for your response. I went back to Paypal and they said that the setting is coming from you since the button was generated by your system, not theirs. When they found out this was a system operating in WordPress they backed off even further indicating that WP settings overrode theirs…

In addition to the digital access we sell through our s2Member installation, we also sell 2 physical products. We created the Paypal buttons through Paypal and we set up shipping for these products from the Shipping Methods and Rates section of Paypal. We charge shipping based on number of items purchased. If you purchase 1-2 items you’re charged $8.00. With larger quantities the shipping rate decreases.

When we set up digital access with s2Member a week ago last Friday, our test transactions and our first 14 ‘real’ transactions went through with no shipping fees assessed. We made one change, which was to extend the access period from 1 year to 5 years and sometime after that the shipping charge started to show up. Could this extension have triggered something?

I really need your help in tracking this down. If I need to go back to paypal, what do I need to tell them to help troubleshoot this?

Thanks.
