Hello Scott,

I don’t really understand what the problem is… I checked both photos, and I believe they are both the same.

Could you please what the problem is, and why it is a problem? Thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience.

Hello Donato,

I will notify the support reps of this, so that they can remove that restriction.

I suppose you know the cause of this block, but the reason is that you tried to log into your account from too many places, so basically s2Member restricted you because of the fact that you tried to login from too many locations.

Hope this helps. :)

BTW, I believe this restriction should go off in about 24 hours by default.

Hello Albert,

I believe you would have to custom code the redirection or process yourself, since nor s2Member or WordPress do this by default.

You can hire a freelancer over at websites like elance.com or jobs.wordpress.net.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Ben,

I believe it is possible, but you would have to custom code the whole process yourself, so it may be even cheaper to buy s2Member than to pay a freelancer…

Hope this answers your question. :)

Hello Donald,

I believe you will have to use PayPal buttons, not pro-forms, and you will have to custom code this in yourself.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Richard,

I believe s2Member would not fit thispurpose, s2Member is used to sell access to certain content, not to sell goods.

Hope this answers your question. :)

Hello Gordon,

I understand the problem.

Here’s a quote on a chat Cristián and Jason had once in the old forums (Cristián posted it):
http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/tabs-missing-in-admin/#post-13046

Show that to the developers and see if they can see the problem. ;)

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Bruce,

This is possible, but you would have to add some code for it to do it automatically.

You can hire a freelancer to do this for you on one of these websites, elance.com or jobs.wordpress.net.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Ben,

I believe you can do this with a role editor, you simply edit the s2Member levels for it to have what you need.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Ben,

The pro version of s2Member has pro-forms.

You can get an idea of what they look like and what they are in this link:
Knowledge Base » s2Member® Pro-Forms

Hope this helps. :)

Hello John,

Have you checked the settings under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› URI Access Restrictions? Please make sure that there isn’t anything like a / or something like that.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Mark,

Glad I was able to help you. :)

s2Member is not currently integrated with any shoping cart plugins, including Woocommerce.

You could probably hire a freelancer to integrate them for you though, try websites like elance.com or jobs.wordpress.net.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Douglas,

I tried to create and enter a new customer using the ADD NEW USER section of s2Member. SINCE I COULD NOT FIND ANY INSTRUCTIONS HOW TO DO THIS, I guessed at what must be put there.

I’m sorry, thought this would be easier, basically it’s asking you the info any user must have, or can have. At the s2Member section of the member info, give him the ccaps or the access that he needs in order to access that video.

Also, if you correctly created the user, and yet he doesn’t have access to the video, then I would make sure the post has the correct protections.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Greg,

I know the answer to a couple of your questions, but not to all.

Also, I’m gonna move this post to the customer support forum, seeing how you’re expecting proffessional support.

Is it totally necessary to have SSL with S2 Pro Forms

This should answer that question:
Pre Sale FAQs » Do I need an SSL certificate to use PayPal® Pro or Authorize.Net®?

and is it commonly free with host like Godaddy?

I’m not sure about it, I haven’t used GoDaddy, but I believe they do, since they are very well known, and are very proffessional.

Hello Paul,

s2Member is not integrated with any shopping cart system for now.

You could integrate this yourself though, if you have a decent knowledge of s2Member and code itself.

Or you can hire a freelancer to do this for you, you can check websites like elance.com or jobs.wordpress.net.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Guy,

I would first ask you to make sure you installed s2member correctly, following the instructions in this link:
s2Member® » Pro » Install/Upgrade Instructions

If that does not solve it, then I would ask you to make a theme compatibility test, simply make a backup of your entire website (ask your host for help on this, if you can’t do it yourself), and change your theme to the default TwentyEleven theme, which works perfectly with s2Member, and then test whatever the problem is, to see if that’s the problem.

If the problem isn’t solved after that, then please tell me.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Paul,

Yes you can restrict access to non-paid members.

You can restrict access to non-registered users, to members registered at level 0 (free), and to and to users registered from level 1 to 5 (paid).

You can do this with the free version also.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello John,

I believe you would have to custom code this in yourself.

You would have to store in a variable the moment the user logged out last, and then output that.

You can hire a freelancer to do this for you, check elance.com or jobs.wordpress.net.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Douglas,

For him sending you the check, you have to figure it out yourself, you could probably just use PayPal for this.

To create the user you just go under WP Dashboard -> Users -> New User.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Gordon,

Well, Jason once said in a recent post, that s2Member works with any theme that’s well coded for WordPress, it’s been tested many times for that.

So I suggest you either insist they check their code and make sure it’s good with WordPress’ standards.

Or find another theme that works and looks the same way.

Or hire a freelancer that makes sure it works, so finds the problem and fixes it.

I would recommend doing the second option, since in each update you would have to check the code again, unless they fix it themselves.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello guys,

I suggest you follow this post:

Jason is currently aware of that post, so you can post your problem there.

Hope this helps. :)
