Hello Ck, This behavior is definitely not done by s2Member, this is caused by a plugin conflict with s2Member or a theme conflict. To test for the plugins, simply disable all your plugins, except s2Member, and see if the problem remains. To test your theme simply change your theme back to the default WordPress theme (TwentyEleven). Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Liu, What happens when you change your theme to the default, and deactivate all your plugins (except s2Member), temporarily? Does the error still appear? – Eduan |

Hello Jeffrey, We are not afraid with any problems that s2Member might cause with WordPress. Did you deactivate all of your plugins and tried then? Have you also tried to change your theme back to the default one? Which is TwentyEleven BTW. – Eduan |

Hello Larry, In order to achieve this you would need to integrate s2Member with your platform you are using. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Stuart, Well if deactivating that plugin gets rid of the problem then it probably is the problem. – Eduan |

Hello John, Yes that would trigger the restrictions, especially if (s)he’s on the move, she’s logging in from different IPs. :/ – Eduan |

Hello Boudwejin, Have you looked at specific post/page access? You can find it under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Specific Post/Page Access Restrictions, and here’s a video on them: Video » s2Member (Specific Posts/Pages) Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Brian, I’ll try to answer what I can, in those that I’m not sure I will say so. :)
I believe so, yes.
I believe they just need to pay for that service once again and their EOT will be updated to show that change. To setup an email before they membership expires be sure to check out this article by Bruce:
I believe they would use Modification buttons, which you can find under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Buttons -› Subscr. Modification Buttons, but I believe they are only available for recurring payments (subscriptions).
I believe you are looking for the membership options page, which you can configure under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Membership Options Page. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello there, Yes I’m afraid that’s what happens, I believe if you add them to the mu-plugins folder, that way the always override the s2Member, just make sure to update those files every time there is a new version. Although if you have to update them in order to make sure that s2Member works correctly, it rally is just worth it modifying the core and not using the mu-plugins folder. – Eduan |

If you want this functionality, then you would not use levels at all, and would only use ccaps (short for custom capabilities). Custom capabilities can’t modify levels, an vice versa, so modifying ccaps won’t affect the user’s level. Hope this helps. :) |

Could you post the logs related to this transaction inside the code tags so that we may examine them and see what the problem is. Thanks. |

Hello James, s2Member recommends, and uses, iDevAffiliate, it is also integrated with s2Member. Check under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Tracking -› Integrating iDevAffiliate® for info on integration. Also check this video on how to integrate it: Video » s2Member (iDevAffiliate Integration) Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Mark, To solve this issue, could you please upload this Server Check script to your root WordPress directory, it was made by Jason to test if your server is OK to run s2Member (and even WordPress). If it gives you all passed, could you please double-check your custom attribute in your shortcode? Read under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Buttons -› Shortcode Attributes (Explained) -› custom and make sure it’s correct? If it doesn’t work after that, could you please paste the shortcode you’re using, an tell us the URL of your website (so that we may compare it ourselves). Thanks! |

Hello Mark, Not sure, I believe it does, but you’ll have to test yourself to make sure. – Eduan |

Hello Tony, This would probably be fixed if you made some .htaccess rules, which would only allow s2Member to access it, and nothing else. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Hassan, To put the login box (officially called “s2Member login widget” :P ) you need the pro version. Although what you want to achieve isn’t possible with s2Member, and would need you to custom code this functionality. – Eduan |

Hmm… What’s the name of that log file? Also, what payment gateway are you using? I imagine PayPal, but the logs s2Member generate do not look like that. – Eduan |

Hello Jim, I’m afraid s2Member can’t do anything regarding this, it only blocks access to the front-end. The back-end isn’t protected by s2Member. – Eduan |
