Hi Matthew.

But I get a custom 404 error when I click the link:
404: Sorry, file not found. Please contact Support for assistance.

Is your file here? /wp-content/plugins/s2member-files/test-document.docx

PLEASE NOTE: This is a windows 2008 R2 server so the .htaccess code, if relevant, needs to be ported.

I’m not sure if mod_rewrite rules work in Windows servers, but I don’t think it matters here because you’re using the querystring to get to the file, not a rewrite.

How can I use one role plus custom capabilities, and immediately identify what plan a user purchased?

In the user’s profile there’s a field for his custom capabilities.

Ah, I see. That’s a pity.

I’ll wait for Jason, then.

You’d need to contact your web host to have them help you with that one.

After it’s fixed, could you do another test transaction to see if the problem you had continues?

No problem. :)

Hi Robert.

Could you upload this PHP file to your WP directory and load it in your browser? http://www.s2member.com/r/server-check-tool/

Do you get any errors or warnings?

Or have a separate HTML form with a dropdown to select the membership, that’d reload the page with that option and adjust the shortcode for the pro-form based on that. http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=1604

Right, it didn’t work for me either. I’ll let Jason know so it can be fixed. Thanks for reporting it!

Here’s the video:

Hi Joshua.

This isn’t available in s2Member yet, although it’s in our to-do list for a future release.

For now you’d need to hack it into your site to count the views, maybe using a cookie, or logging it in the usermeta table on each pageview.

That sounds okay. :)

Hi Charles.

Basically you copy the template for the pro-form you want to edit and put it in your theme’s directory, then you can point to it from the shortcode with the [hilite mono]template[/hilite] attribute.

I hope it helps. :)

Thanks for the kudos and your support! :)

I see, it’s odd that although the user is entering his password, WP sends him a generated one. It sounds like maybe another plugin may be causing that… You can test this deactivating the other plugins one by one and testing with a registration after each to see if the problem goes away.

Let me know how it goes, please. I hope that helps.

No problem. :)

The Membership Options page is the one the user is sent to when he tries to load a protected page that he doesn’t have access to.

The Login Welcome page is the one the user is shown right after logging in.

Hi Steve.

The user just pays for the new one, he doesn’t have to do anything extra to have the previous one cancelled. If there was a subscription tied to his account and he pays for the new one, then s2Member will silently take care of the change.

Hi Steve.

The default WP multisite doesn’t share the users between blogs in the network, as far as I understand it, so s2Member is not tested that way.

s2Member levels are WP roles, though, so if you find a way to share users with the same role between blogs in the network, then I guess the s2Member user level would propagate.

I hope that helps. :)

Cool. :)

Hi Buck.

You could write a conditional that allows that, yeah. Here’s the content dripping documentation: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Content Dripping[/hilite]

I hope it helps. :)

In your button shortcode just change the output attribute to [hilite code]output="url"[/hilite]. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Buttons[/hilite] :)

I’m forwarding your request to Jason for review.

Nahom, do you have Authorize.Net available in Sweden? That’s the other option to receive payments on site. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Authorize.Net® Pro Forms[/hilite]

I see. Well, I’m not very familiar with BuddyPress, but I think you can create groups with it.

About protecting them, the only thing s2Member has to protect BuddyPress content would be the URI restriction. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› URI Access Restrictions[/hilite]

You’d need to learn how that works and see how you can use it to do what you want.

I hope it helps. :)

Those replacement codes aren’t available in the New User email, I mentioned them in relation to the Sign Up Notification. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Notifications -› Signup Notifications[/hilite]

Hi Suhaib.

I believe that code is not necessary anymore, if I’m not mistaken. What you need to integrate WP Affiliate with s2Member, is explained here: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-affiliate/integrating-s2member-plugin-with-the-wp-affiliate-software-368

I hope it helps. :)

Hi Sebastian.

Is there a way to get this done? Some function I can hook into (something like s2_get_form_field($custom_field_id) )?

If I understand your question correctly, this may help: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› PHP/API Constants[/hilite]

Hi Todd.

No, Stripe is not supported in the current s2Member. It is in the version being developed, but that has no release date yet. Sorry :/
