Hi Kevin. I don’t know, s2Member doesn’t manage this, it’s the way WordPress behaves. I’ll ask Jason if he knows how it could be prevented in some way. |

I just ran a search for [hilite mono]s2member_paypal_return_tra[/hilite] in the files. Look at line 222 in [hilite mono]s2member/includes/classes/sc-paypal-button-in.inc.php[/hilite]. |

You can see the return URL here: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› PayPal® PDT/Auto-Return Integration[/hilite] In the button’s template, you can see the hidden input for it too: [hilite pre_code][/hilite] I hope that helps. |

I’m really sorry, Lovell. It’s not that we didn’t change the pro-form limitation because we didn’t want to, but because we couldn’t. This is a limitation in PayPal’s API, there’s really nothing we can do about it. For some reason they keep their different services very inconsistently between them. They have different rules and features that one would think are the same in their products, since it’s the same company, but it’s not the case. :( I don’t know if the new PayFlow service, which can now be integrated to s2Member’s pro-forms, supports the 18 months initial term. I googled it but can’t find any docs on it from PayPal. I’ll ask Jason about it.
The user would have to be logged in to his account, so it’s better to have the button in the Login Welcome page or any page protected at Level 0 (which requires him to be logged in). |

What you need on the ClickBank side to set up a product is covered in their support docs. In ClickBank you’ll need to enter two URLs that s2Member provides: the IPN and the than-you page ones, which you get from: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› ClickBank® Options -› IPN Integration[/hilite]
That’ll give you an error like that, because that URL is supposed to be loaded by ClickBank after checkout, which includes POST data, which will be absent if you just load the URL in your browser. To test the ClickBank integration after you set it up, first enable logging and then, with a test card provided by ClickBank, do a purchase of the product. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› ClickBank® Options -› Account Details -› Logging[/hilite]
No, you can use another image if you want. There’s an image attribute in the shortcode for the button, which lets you enter the URL to your custom one. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› ClickBank® Buttons -› Shortcode Attributes -> image[/hilite]
We’re trying to make it simpler, but all those values on both sides are needed to make the integration work, that’s the way ClickBank works. If you keep having trouble, you can try hiring someone set this up. I hope that helps! |

In the panel for the AWeber integration, you enter the AWeber lists assigned to the s2Member Levels. In the Automation panel for the List Servers API, you’ll configure it so that the user gets moved between lists in AWeber based on his Level changes in s2Member. Sorry, I forgot to answer your AWeber question. Yes, that’s what I’d do, just keep using AWeber to drip those, then you won’t have to migrate previous users or have to set something else up for the new ones. You can integrate AWeber with s2Member. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / List Servers -› AWeber®[/hilite] Here are a couple of articles that help with this in case you have trouble: To automate list migration based on the user’s s2Member Level, go here: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / List Servers -› Automate Unsubscribes/Opt-Outs[/hilite] I don’t know how previous subscribers in your AWeber list would be matched to users in your WordPress userbase. I’m guessing that based on the the emial address, but I’ll email Jason to confirm this. To test I recommend to do real registrations, following the steps your user would instead of creating a user from the admin side. To test the AWeber subscription, use a different email address each time, remember AWeber keeps track of the addresses and if you keep using the same one after unsubscribing and such, you won’t get the same experience. If you have a Gmail account, you can have multiple addresses off of it: yourname@gmail.com, yourname+test1@gmail.com, yourname+test2@gmail.com, etc. http://gmailblog.blogspot.mx/2008/03/2-hidden-ways-to-get-more-from-your.html For the paid upgrade, do a live transaction, not a sandbox one, even if for just 1 cent to test it. This way you’ll avoid all the extra trouble the sandbox gives, and you’ll have the actual experience a live transaction will give to your customer. I’ll have to ask Jason about the S3 permission to everyone. |

Thanks for the kudos! I’m glad I could help. :) I see. That’s because your theme is trying to use this image for the button: http://www.madeinminecraft.com/wp-content/themes/famous/images/style0/input-submit.png But it’s not showing up for some reason. You could just remove the style that throws the button’s text all the way to the side. In http://www.madeinminecraft.com/wp-content/themes/famous/css/global.css?ver=3.3.2 for the selector input[type=”submit”] remove this style: [hilite code]text-indent: -999999px;[/hilite]Anyway, your theme seems to do a few things to this page. I suggest that you contact the developer if you need to customize it further. Maybe he can even tell you how to skip the theme customizations to this page too. I hope that helps. |

Just remove that style, then the default height style will be used, which is fine. |

Hi Ron. I’ll go ahead and answer the questions:
If you use the more tag, then what’s before it will be shown in the list of posts as a snipet. Or maybe try something like the Auto More Tag plugin to save you from editing all the posts. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/auto-more-tag/
You can protect all posts entering [hilite mono]all[/hilite] in the Posts Restriction panel. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Post Access Restrictions[/hilite]
You can enter what you want there, it can be a “welcome back” with a list of updates for members. Or a reminder to add your email address to their contact list to get your email course. Anything you want to tell users.
No, it’s not updated automatically, all s2Member does is protect it at Level 0 (logged in) and redirect people there after login. The content is like any other page’s, you put whatever you want there. I hope that helps! |

Oh, got ya. OK, so you have a single blog, with 100 posts, and you want visitors to see part of them in the listing, but not the full article. You want to require that they register free and you’ll drip 5 full articles? What happens to the other 95, will they have to pay for access to those? |

You’re welcome and thanks for the kudos! I’m glad I could help. :) Yes, if you use the s2Member generated button, or the PayPal created button following the instructions so it works with s2Member, it should work fine. Keep logging enabled so you it’ll be easier to find what’s wrong in case you have any problems with the transactions. Thanks. OK, when you say blogs, do you mean a multisite network? So you’d have a main blog that links to the other blogs in the multisite network? |

Could be, if it’s coincident. I went to your page with the pro-form and noticed that it isn’t secure. http://www.noplanmealplan.com/subscription-options/monthly-subscription-form/ This article may help, the part about the custom field: Pre Sale FAQs » Do I need an SSL certificate to use PayPal® Pro or Authorize.Net®? |

It processes when the subscription starts. If your regular monthly payments start on the 5th, then every 5th. That’s why I’m suggesting that you use the initial term, which is separate from the regular ones, to end the current month and have the regular terms start on the 1st. So, if it’s a 17th, have the initial term be 13 days (if it’s a 30 days month) and the regular term will start on the 1st. |

I know what you mean with the theme, it being a live site. What I meant with changing to the default was to test it, not to stop using that theme altogether. Yeah, I used to think themes didn’t touch the admin side at all, but after having to solve a few of these admin side problems with JavaScript, I changed my mind. I don’t think it themes the admin side, but it’s possible that some code in the head is still included and the JavaScript in it affects it. Not sure what exactly, but I know that changing to the default theme, or another theme without that conflict, solves it. About the errors, I’m not sure if that’s part of the conflict or if there’s something wrong with your copy of the s2Member file. Yesterday we had a new release of s2Member, so why don’t you update the framework and pro add-on and see if that helps? s2Member® » Framework » Install/Upgrade Instructions Regarding the other plugins, I remember that those that change the editor sometimes give trouble, so TinyMCE Advanced may be work keeping an eye on. If you want to test if a plugin is causing trouble, then deactivating them one by one and checking the problem after each, is a good way to find it. I hope that helps! :) |

I see. Well, you can adjust the initial term in the shortcode too. http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=1604 If you never got the emails, I’d test it removing the trial/initial term and doing a 1 cent buy-now to see if you get the confirmation email then. If not, you have a problem there that needs fixing too. Knowledge Base » Troubleshooting Email Delivery Problems I hope that helps! |

I see, then let’s leave it for that time when you have a product there. The integration procedure may have changed a bit by then, Jason is recoding all the gateway integrations. The Notifications API includes refunds and cancellations, so you can use it to inform iDevAffiliate to adjust the commissions. It doesn’t manage the actual money transfers, that’s something you’ll have to do. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Notifications -› Cancellation Notifications[/hilite] In that sense ClickBank is convenient. Even if your product is actually a service, you can still sell it as a “product”. Just set it up so he gets access to a restricted area of your site, even if just a page, and that should be fine. Then deliver the consultation the way you normally would and keep that page for “resources”, for example. I hope that helps! |

I see. Well, the log si quite clear about the reason. This is a problem with PayPal, really, there isn’t much we can do about it. Since s2Member doesn’t have the info yet, it has to wait until later to get it and then send the confirmation email with the registration link for the user. If you enter an amount, even 1 cent, for the initial term, then it may solve it. What’s your shortcode? |

That code works fine, haven’t had reports that say otherwise. I suggest that you re-upload that file from your zip. What are you having problems with, if the subscription button is working fine? A buy-now one? Could you post the shortcode you’re using? Do you have logging enabled to see what happens after checkout? I want to see if s2Member is logging any errors that would prevent the person from registering. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Account Details -› Logging[/hilite] |
