Hello Gil, I’m afraid this is not possible without modifying WordPress itself. Every default field is editable by the user. :) Although, the login welcome page is filled with content you put in it, so if you don’t put a replacement shortcode for the user’s first name or display name it will never show them. – Eduan |

Hello Suzan, Seems that for whatever reason a couple of users have reported this error. Could you please tell us your WordPress version and s2Member version? It would also help a lot if you could please try all of these common troubleshooting tips: Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips – Eduan |

Well, if the card can no longer continue paying for the costs I’m pretty sure PayPal tells s2Member and s2Member updates his account accordingly. All according to the settings under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Automatic EOT Behavior. However, I’m not sure what would happen if the user switches the card he’s using. :/ |

Hello Nina, You mean give your users the option of yes or no, if they choose yes they move on to paying and if they say no they just get redirected somewhere else saying sorry or something? If they go for the yes, would they pay a fixed amount? Or will they be able to choose what they pay? – Eduan |

Hello Jeffrey, This is possible. :) However the error you get when setting the membership options page… It seems you have restricted the entirety of your website using URI restrictions, which you find under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› URI Access Restrictions. – Eduan |

OK Gilles. So basically you get redirected to a blank membership options page? Does your membership options page have content you put there? – Eduan |

If your users go to login.php?action=register it will redirect them to wp-login.php?register=disabled it seems. But if they go to wp-login.php only it will treat them normally without the registration not allowed message. See what I mean? Could you please confirm this? |

Robyn, I believe what Bruce is saying is that a plugin, or most probably your theme is causing this problem. Having a clean install of WordPress would tell us if this is true or not. – Eduan |

I see. I think that would be too advanced for me. :/ BTW, instead of using is_permitted, have you thought about using s2Member’s PHP conditionals? You can find them under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Advanced PHP Conditionals. – Eduan |

Hello Russell, As the name of the file suggests. You will need to be an admin user I believe, in order to be able to access that. :/ s2Member doesn’t work in the back-side of WordPress, only on the front-side, the content itself. – Eduan |

Hello Gilles, Could you please explain what “Boque” is? Also, the blank page the users were redirected to should have been your membership options page, did you put any content in that page? – Eduan |

Hello Florence, If you want to protect level entries to the level they require to be accessed you can do two things. One is show different menus depending on the user’s access. And the other, easier one, is basically going under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Alternative View Protection and activating a menu related setting. – Eduan |

Hello Charisse, Under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Open Registration, is it on or off? The URL you gave us suggest it’s off. If you want users to be able to register for free on your website this setting must be on. – Eduan |

Hello Lewis, You mean the shortcodes for all the buttons and all that? If so, you can find them under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Buttons, be sure to check under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Account Details before in order to configure everything correctly first. :) – Eduan |

Hello Joann, That’s because s2Member stores it as a Unix timestamp I believe. You might be interested in the PHP date() function, which transforms these into a human readable output I believe. Not very sure though. I’m a little rusty in PHP. And I’m not really familiar with time functions and stuff. – Eduan |
