Hello Michael,

I’m not really sure what you are trying to achieve, could you please be a little more clear on what you need or want? Thanks. :)

Hello John,

This error is controlled by the options under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Unique IP Access Restrictions.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Spencer,

Yes you do need to have the pro version installed for this. Here are instructions on how to do it: s2Member® » Pro (Upgrade)

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Jessica,

For your login page, you mean your WordPress login page or the s2Member Login Welcome Page?

Hello Jason,

I’m afraid there isn’t a word like that as far as I’m aware.

Have you opened a post (the page to edit the post/page) and seen what the s2Member box in the top left say about the restrictions set on that page/post?

Hello Anissa,

Make it so that it’s like this:

<?php
define("MEMBERSHIP_LEVELS", 24);
/**

Otherwise it will not be read by s2Member or WordPress.

Hope this helps. :)

Oh I’m very sorry, I got confused on what you were asking.

Yes you can add your own members manually, you just have to go under WP Admin -> Users -> Add New User and you just change the user’s role to the s2Member role that you want, and add the custom capabilities that you want.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Enos,

I’m afraid this isn’t within s2Member, or WordPress. You would have to code this in yourself, or pay a freelancer to implement this for you.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Hari,

If you’re a pro user then I suggest you ask your question in the customer support forums, otherwise you will not get an answer from the support reps.

Hello Anjali,

This error is regarding your PHP installation, so I would suggest contacting your host and ask them to enable both of these.

I’m afraid that wouldn’t work, doesn’t hurt to try though. I’m just basing myself from the s2Member documentation.

Well, I think the point is that it’s not possible with lifetime access. Have you thought about offering 5 years instead of a lifetime?..

Oh I see! Yeah, it isn’t possible to offer trials for one-time payment buttons, only for recurring subscriptions. I believe this is a limitation from PayPal though, since otherwise it would make sense to offer a trial.

Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t notice you couldn’t have a trial with lifetime access.

I believe this is a limitation from PayPal, but I’m not sure, you can check out older posts in the old forums just to make sure there isn’t any work-around.

One work-around though, is to make them register for free as a trial, and then after five days give them the option to upgrade (using content dripping). Link to content dripping: Knowledge Base » Introduction to Content Dripping in s2Member®

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Charles,

This is easily achievable using custom capabilities instead of levels, also known as ccaps. You can find a video about them here: Video » s2Member (Custom Capabilities)

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Tom,

I’m afraid this is not currently possible with s2Member, you would have to do a custom WP Cron yourself I think, check them out: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_cron

Hello Pirco,

If you want to register a new site under a different name then you need a new account. If you want to have multi-site license now then you would upgrade, check on your account page, you should find something about upgrading. You would only need to pay the difference BTW.

Hope this helps. :)

Well, you can simply send them to your website and have a pro-form there (or a button with the free version), just tell them they will go to your website in order to give them their membership.

Have you looked at configuring a trial time in your button generator?

Hello Jason,

How did you block your pages/posts? Using the options under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options? Or directly within the pages?
