It was the section that asks for the address because you had configured taxes, while I had not, so the pro-form wasn’t showing that section in my installation. Before I realized it was the taxes thing, I thought it may be a JS problem not hiding that section of the pro-form. I clarified it later when I realized what was happening, but I guess I wasn’t clear enough, sorry. :)
There must be something different that you didn’t catch yet. Double check your PayPal integration, make sure it’s all correct for the live site, please. You can also re-upload s2Member and s2Member Pro, in case there’s a file that wasn’t uploaded correctly when you did the update. Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips -> Files |

Trying to load it in your browser is wrong, because it doesn’t have the POST vars that ClickBank includes when sending the user there after checkout. Just add it as your thank-you page URL in ClickBank. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› ClickBank® Options -› Thank-You Page Integration[/hilite] |

If you click that link directly you’ll get that error, but that link of for ClickBank to send the customer after checkout, and it’ll include the POST vars needed, so it’s not a problem. Try a test purchase and you’ll be taken there without the POST error. |

I see. And what is the page that you selected as the Membership Options page? Was it /illinois/ or is that the page that you were trying to load? Could you show me the URL in the address bar when you get the 404? You can change the domain name, I’m interested in the rest of the URL. I’d like to take a look at the site, if possible, too. s2Member® » Private Contact Form Thanks. |

What I changed the other day were the amount to 1 cent, although I raised it back to 500 dollars afterwards. And I fixed the custom attribute, because it still had the address of the live site, but needed to be updated to the test site’s. Why can’t you fix the PayPal API in the test site? The test installation is completely independent from the live one, right? |

Richard, the badge would try to connect to s2member.com. Although I don’t see it displayed in your site, I see it in the source code. Try disabling the badge and see if it makes a difference: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Security Badge[/hilite] Then it’d be good to find out why your site is having trouble with it. Please follow the tips in this article: Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips I hope that helps. :) |

Hi Michele. Renewal reminders aren’t in s2Member yet, but there are a couple of user contributed hacks that may help: http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/setting-up-eot-notifications/ |

You may need to explain better to them the difference between the annual and premium memberships. I understand they are different, but I can’t tell what the difference is myself. Could you explain them a bit more? Are they complementary or mutually exclusive? Are they both subscriptions or are you selling with one-time payments so they renew manually? I imagine the single issues are one-time payments.
How are you selling these currently? levels, custom capabilities, or a mix? |

Desmond, once you have the hack in the mu-plugins folder of the WP installation where s2Member is, you can link to it with the ?clickbank=redirect at the end. If I understood correctly, s2Member is in www.everestfortune.com, then your ClickBank button outside of that site, would link to http://www.everestfortune.com/?clickbank=redirect If you click that link, you’ll be taken to the ClickBank checkout. I hope that helps. :) |

No, s2Member can only protect one folder (and those under it), but not completely different ones like you ask. You’d need to combine the content of both into one. |

Did you change your permalinks format after having chosen the Membership Options Page for s2Member? I’ve seen this cause 404s for one user in the past. I suggest that you go pick the page again and save. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Membership Options Page[/hilite] If that doesn’t work, could you please tell me what permalink format you’re using? Thanks! |

Right, that’d be fine. In that case, the conditional would check if the user has Level 0 or the higher level you’re selling, to show the buttons or not. Or, you could use a pro-form with Express Checkout, so the user registers and goes to PayPal to checkout right then. s2Member can’t handle more than one PayPal account at the moment, and it should be configured with the new one you just got, that is the right kind for the integration. The subscriptions with the previous account will keep being charged by PayPal, but there will be some complications with s2Member. Here’s a reply Jason posted recently for a user that was having trouble due to his change of PayPal account: http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/error1000-11546-profil-id/page/2/#post-29791 Basically, in their profiles you’ll remove the subscr. IDs of the old PayPal account and you’ll have to demote them manually when they stop paying you, because s2Member would have no way of knowing about it to do it for you. The good thing is that they aren’t that many members, so it won’t be too hard on you. I hope that helps. :) |

Josh, you can use the free registration pro-form so they create an account, or just the regular WP registration form. Either way, the user will now have a free account. For email confirmation you can disable custom passwords, so on registration a generated password will be sent to the user and he will have to get it from his email before being able to login. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Registration/Profile Fields -> Custom Passwords[/hilite] Then in the Login Welcome page, you can show them the buttons to upgrade their account. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Login Welcome Page[/hilite] Does that help? |

Well done for straightening that out! I’m sorry you went through that, but we can’t do much about PayPal’s ways. :/ When you test the configuration with the new PayPal account, please do live 1 cent transactions, better not to use the Sandbox (another troublemaker). Keep logging enabled and let us know how it goes! I hope all well. :) |

Thanks. Could you try this URL? Does it work?
or this one
Just change the domain name to the actual one, and keep the [hilite mono]www[/hilite] in mind (I’m not sure if your site uses it or not). Knowledge Base » Don't mix www and without

Joshua, for login you can use the s2Member Pro Login Widget in a widget area or via PHP. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Pro Login Widget (via PHP)[/hilite] For registration you can use the free registration pro-form in one of your pages. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Free Registration Forms[/hilite] I hope that helps! |
