Ah, I see. Yeah, he was making a distinction there between the registration/login and the pro-forms, but I can understand how what he said could be read the way you did. I’m sorry about that. The thing is that SI Captcha can’t really work with any custom form other plugins add. They can hook to the default login/reg form WP has, of course, since it’s the default. So s2Member’s pro-forms won’t be something SI Captcha will work with, the pro-form has to have its own captcha solution, and it does, but it’s using the reCaptcha service. I hope that helps understand it better. |

Tamas, sorry I didn’t understand earlier. This forum conversation may help you with that: http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=10368 Allen, it’s OK as long as you only use it in one live site, your testing installation is not counted. |

Sorry, Christian, but I’m a bit confused. Did you add a field to the pro-form and now you’re trying to validate the input? What pro-form is it? How did you add the field? Thanks! |

Right, SI Captcha doesn’t work with pro-forms, as far as I know. Where did you read that it does? It does work with the default registration/login page even if you’re using s2Member. |

Editing the pro-form’s template. http://www.s2member.com/faqs/#s2-faqs-pro-form-template-mods It has some limits, though, but that’s probably what you’ll get you closest. |

Cool. :) You’ll just need to pick the Level properly so access to the content all works the wya you want . Remember that Level access is incremental, higher levels will have access to content for the lower ones as well. |

Hmm… The log entries are really quite empty. I wonder if the theme plugin you tried in these tests caused a problem. Is there no way for you to change to the default theme to test this? If it works differently then, we’ll know the theme or theme changer plugin, are causing trouble. There’s a plugin that lets you change the theme on a specific page, which may be another thing to try. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/page-theme/ |

Yeah, in your Account page you’ll have an upgrade link to pay just the difference in price between the licenses. :) I haven’t seen that question asked before, but I see what you want to do. I think that’d be better asked in the BuddyPress or bbPress forums, though. I don’t have much experience with either one. :/ |

You can try using the email as the username with a plugin like this: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-email-login/ |

Tamas, you can already edit the email that gets sent to new users on registration and new customers on sign up. ;) Knowledge Base » Editing the New User Email Notification with s2Member® Allen, for the membership to be permanent, just don’t set a term or EOT time. And if someone already has an EOT time, you can simply remove it manually from their profile page. |

That’s really weird. If the email is being sent, you receive the copy, your copy is formatted correctly and it works with the AWeber parser, why isn’t the one sent straight to AWeber adding the person? Have you contacted AWeber’s support about this? |

About groups and stuff, then it’d probably have to be BuddyPress, I don’t know that bbPress alone has it. s2Member has an integration for AWeber. Video » s2Member (API List Servers) I hope that helps. :) |

Yeah, it’s a great idea for a reference in the codex. I’ll forward it to the team. :) The lost pasword doesn’t have a shortcode version, but you could just copy the form’s HTML from [hilite mono]/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword[/hilite]. For login s2Member Pro has this function: http://www.s2member.com/codex/stable/s2member/api_functions/package-functions/#src_doc_s2member_pro_login_widget%28%29 |

Sorry, I don’t know how to add SI Captcha to a pro-form, cause it’s not just a matter of adding it to the form, it also has to validate, so the customization is a bit more involved. You can have someone develop it if you really need it, but reCaptcha is quite common now and most people are used to it. I don’t know how to have it show one word only, either, since the two words image is part of what’s behind the reCaptcha idea. http://www.google.com/recaptcha/learnmore |

Ah ok, thanks for explaining it. You can use the login widget via PHP then. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Pro Login Widget (via PHP)[/hilite] It’s not a shortcode, but can still be used in a page. :) |

Not on s2Member’s side, but you can ask PayPal support if there’s a way. I’m not sure how, though, if they are needed to get the payment. The only way you wouldn’t need them is with Express Checkout, because then the user would have to login to his PayPal account, which already has the stuff they need for funds. |

I understand you’d want to know. I’m not going to be optimistic, so I’ll say we may have a beta in a month and a release in two. It’s really very uncertain, but I don’t want to give hope again for a date that is not the right one in the end. :/ I can say for certain one thing: Jason is working on this full time, has made huge progress and is not stopping. |

They would all be there in the s2member-logs directory. Normally more than one log file gets generated. |

Either of the options, button or conditional, to upgrade the account back to 1 would be fine, since either could trigger the role change. Right, the pro-form is needed to allow for a free registration at Level 1 with an EOT time set. No, we don’t have a trial. If you need to implement the custom code above, if you don’t know enough to do it yourself, you can find good developers at sites like jobs.wordpress.net. I hope that helps. :) |
