Hi Danna.

1, 2, 3, 4: Not yet.

5, 6: Yes. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Registration/Profile Fields[/hilite]

7: Yes in s2Member Pro. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Import/Export -› User/Member Importation[/hilite]

I hope that helps. :)

Yeah, I’m pretty sure you can’t use more than one s2Member form in the same page. :/

I’ll email Jason asking if there’s a way to do it.

Hi Bran.

I’m not sure how the sandbox manages those funds. I don’t like using the sandox because it’s not exactly the same as the live transactions, so I tend to just run live transactions for cents in my tests. If you try a real payment for a cent, do you see the charge made to your card or PayPal account?

You can use the free registration pro-form and set different levels, not just 0. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Shortcode Attributes (Explained) -> level[/hilite]

It’s probably better if you [hilite mono]"login_redirect" => "/registrierung-erfolgreich",[/hilite] and then on that page pick up the user’s username with a WP function or s2Member’s [hilite mono]S2MEMBER_CURRENT_USER_LOGIN[/hilite] constant.

I hope that helps. :)

Ah ok, then you can use the free registration pro-form. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Free Registration Forms[/hilite]

What do you mean by “Paypal validation button”? Not using PayPal?

There’s a plugin that lets you use the email address as the username, though. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-email-login/

Hi Bendix.

No, still not there yet, but it’s one of the things Jason is working on now.

That’d be to have it in multiple languages in the same blog, right? I don’t know how to integrate multilingual to the pro-forms.

Yeah, you could have more than one pro-form in separate pages, but the language would be the same. s2Member is not really ready for multilanguage yet. :/

Editing the pro-form’s template you could do it. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Shortcode Attributes (Explained) -> template[/hilite]

Hi Ken. Sorry I missed your post yesterday.

What restriction did you use to protect your content? An s2 Level or Custom Capabilities?

The Pro Login Widget has plenty of selectors you can use to style with CSS. A tool like Firebug may help you with that. http://getfirebug.com

That’s a nice idea. Well, you could try doing it with JavaScript. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Registration/Profile Fields -> Add/Edit Field -> Other Attributes[/hilite]

Hi Steven.

Well, the Unique IPs restriction’s Maximum Unique IP Addresses Allowed setting says “every 30 days”, so the count is reset every 30 days. I understand the same happens when you hit the reset button. And in the user’s profile when you reset it as well (Reset IP Restrictions).

I’ll email Jason asking him to confirm it.

Also: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Unique IP Access Restrictions[/hilite]

The default period of “30 days” could be modified through this WordPress® Filter:
[hilite mono]ws_plugin__s2member_ip_restrictions__concurrency_time_per_ip[/hilite]

I hope that helps. :)

PayPal only lets you enter one IPN URL. Go to your Account page and download the Pro Extras zip. Inside you’ll find the file paypal-central-ipn.zip, which may help you.

Hi Nigel.

It’s like Eduán said, you need to disable the Deactivation Safeguards, which are there to protect the data in case of deactivation (which includes plugin updates).

If you still have s2Member uninstalled, then please install and activate it again, go to [hilite path]WP Admin -> s2Member -> General Options -> Deactivation Safeguards[/hilite] and turn it off, and then remove s2Member.

That should do it. :)

Hi Alex.

The password, if you leave the field blank when you import new users, the user will need to use the Lost Password tool to get access to the account. If the accounts are being updated because they already exist, then the empty password field won’t affect the existing password. But if you import new users and enter a password in the field for it, that’s the password that’ll be used for the account.

About the CSV file, all the columns before the custom profile fields, are very straightforward. The custom profile fields, though, need two columns each, one for the field’s ID (the one you assigned it when you created the field), and another for the value. If you read with that in mind the export CSV you got, it should be clearer now.

I hope that helps. :)

Jason modified the theme quite a bit for this site, though, so I’m not sure if that’s part of it or a customization. Please ask the theme developer first if it does that.

In any case, it’s not something that s2Member adds, it’s a theme/customization thing. I hope that helps clarify that.

OK, let me see if I understand. You do want to create a CloudFront distribution, right? But that’s failing. Are you entering the content of the pk-[***].pem file in the box for it and not the other file by mistake? That’s what I want you to double-check. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Download Options -› Amazon® S3/CloudFront CDN Storage -> Amazon® CloudFront Private Key[/hilite]

Hi Edward.

Could you try the hack Jason suggests here to disable the protection temporarily so you can gain access again? http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=15784#p52446

And then adjust your setting so it allows more IP addresses. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Unique IPs[/hilite]

I hope that helps. :)

I’ll have to ask Jason about this one. I’m emailing him now, I hope he gets to it soon. Thanks for your patience! :)
