I still haven’t received the WordPress emails to my Ymail account after all this time, so it wasn’t normal delay. I suggest that you deactivate all the plugins and try to register an account with a Yahoo address and see how that goes, then start activating the plugins one by one again. This would help determine if the problem is being caused by a plugin. |

OK, I tried a new purchase with a Ymail account. The purchase went fine, got sent to the thank-you page and there I clicked the link to the registration, and I registered the account. In my email I got the ClickBank email, but I didn’t get a single email from your site, not the confirmation email that s2Member sends through WordPress, or the New User email WordPress sends. To test if this was something that s2Member is causing, I tried an email from your site that wasn’t touched by s2Member at all, so I tried the Lost Password tool and got this message from WordPress:
I don’t know if it’s the SMTP plugin to send the emails, or of it’s server related, but it seems to be a problem outside s2Member, since s2Member doesn’t alter the mail functionality of WordPress. Do you always have this problem with Ymail accounts? If you deactivate the s2Member plugin and register an account with a Ymail address, do you get the email? |

Cool. :) Make sure you’re not logged in to your account when you click the order button, please. I hope it all goes fine for you too. |

No problem, Shawn, the development installation doesn’t count. :) |

So the rest works fine, only this line doesn’t show even if the condition is met and the lines before and after it do show? Do you have an extra condition for that link? Could you post here, inside code tags, the code you used for that link? |

Thanks Kath, I got the info and did a test purchase. It all went fine, after checkout I was taken to the thank-you page, clicked the link to proceed to the registration page, registered the account, got the email with the password, went and logged in with it fine. Then I logged in with the admin account to verify the role the account was given, and it’s the one you labeled “Giveaway Video Course Member”: s2Member Level 1. The logs don’t show an error for the transaction either. I did notice a warning in your General Options page for s2Member, saying that you hadn’t set a Membership Options Page and the s2Member access restrictions won’t be applied until you do. You should pick a page for that, probably the one you sent me to find the button to purchase with. Did I miss something? What is the problem you’re having right now exactly? I didn’t find something other than the Membership Options Page thing to report. I’ll be waiting your update. Thanks! |

Sorry, Jana, the current coupons feature doesn’t support applying one discount to the trial and another to the regular amount. You could try, instead of using the coupons feature in the pro-forms, create a customization that uses variables in the shortcode. This may help: http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=1604 |

No problem, Bran. By the way, if you have subscribers from your PayPal Standard account, ask the PayPal support what happens once you switch to Pro. It’s good that make sure how that works before the change. Also, I’ve just seen a user report that PayPal Pro now doesn’t have the recurring payments that it used to and there’s a new service to replace it. Jason’s looking into that, but I thought I’d let you know. Please check those with PayPal if you’ll have recurring payments, but I don’t think it’ll be a problem with buy-now transactions.

Well, you could update your plugin. Just make sure you make a backup of the site first and that you’ve enabled Deactivation Safeguards. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Deactivation Safeguards[/hilite] Since there’s a big difference in version, you may want to upgrade several times with less difference in version until you bring it up to the current release. If you have hacks, then you may need to reapply some, depending on how you did them. All that said, in your version there should still be a reset button, if I’m not mistaken. In the Unique IPs restriction panel there’s a button that resets it for everyone. In the user’s profile page there’s a checkbox you check and then save the changes for the profile. If you don’t find them, could you show me a screenshot of those pages? |

Kath, could you please send the login info so I take a look at the configuration, and the FTP info so I can look at the logs? I’d like to dome some test purchases and see if I can find the problem that way. Also, please include a newly generated ClickBank test card to make the test purchases. s2Member® » Private Contact Form Thanks. |

Have you tried editing the Author role to add the capabilities [hilite mono]access_s2member_level0[/hilite] and [hilite mono]access_s2member_level1[/hilite]? http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/user-role-editor/

You could use the Custom Return URL to show the person another page after a successful submission of the pro-form. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Custom Return URLs Upon Success -> Free Registration[/hilite] |

Do you mean the Pro Login Widget? Right, that other plugin won’t affect this widget. I don’t know how to make the widget accept the email address instead of the username. I’ll ask Jason if there’s a way. |

It’s possible, but that’s something you’d customize in your theme. |

If you can populate those from the page where the form is, instead of the admin side, then you could use s2Member’s constants, for example. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› PHP/API Constants[/hilite] |

I’ll ask Jason about the hook, but you also have the Notification API for those situations. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Notifications[/hilite] |

Yeah, when editing the custom registration field, change the Allow Profile Edits setting to [hilite mono]Yes (editable after registration / invisible during registration)[/hilite]. Hi Ayman. Have you tried putting a [hilite mono]/[/hilite] (forward slash) in the Level 0 field of the URI restriction? [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› URI Access Restrictions[/hilite] |

Glad you solved it, Luke. :) No, the current pro-form for custom capabilities requires you to be logged in first, it doesn’t include registartion as the Levels pro-forms do. We’re working on this. |

You could use shortcode conditionals to change the content of the page depending on the user’s access. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Simple/Shortcode Conditionals[/hilite] |
