Yeah, I guess manual would be your option for now, unless you customized s2Member’s code to distinguish between cancellation and expiration. |

Could you test not using an underscore in the ccap’s name? Make it series-1 or series1 instead and see if that helps. |

No, s2Member Pro’s files are all in the s2member-pro folder. Removing that folder is enough to remove s2Member Pro. Do you have some cache or some hack elsewhere causing this? |

No, it should work with just that. Maybe there’s a plugin in your installation interfering with that hack? I guess you could try the troubleshooting tips here: Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips |

That’ll demote everyone to Level 1, even Level 1 users.
I think s2Member uses UTC to set the EOT. If you need to modify it, you could probably use the grace time setting. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Automatic EOT Behavior -> EOT Grace Time[/hilite] |

You may be having a problem before it gets to the email. Make sure you have logging enabled and run a live 1 cent test transaction to get it logged. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Log Files (Debug) -› Logging Configuration[/hilite] What does the log say? Any problems? These are general troubleshooting tips you could try: Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips And these are for email delivery: Knowledge Base » Troubleshooting Email Delivery Problems |

I haven’t read the rest of the thread because Bruce is helping you, but I noticed something in your shortcode that I thought I’d mention: your [hilite mono]custom[/hilite] value is [hilite mono]thecushion.com[/hilite], but when I opened that address it shows a www. Please see this article: Knowledge Base » Don't Mix www, — and Without! |

What do the logs say? Did you have logging enabled when the peak problem happened? [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Log Files (Debug)[/hilite] If you have logs there, you can submit your site’s info so I take a look too. Let me know after you sent it, please. s2Member® » Private Contact Form |

Thanks for posting the shortcode. Please change the [hilite mono]rr[/hilite] attribute value to [hilite mono]BN[/hilite] for buy-now transactions: [hilite mono]rr="BN"[/hilite]. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Shortcode Attributes -> rr[/hilite]
If you’re not selling subscriptions you don’t need DPRP, but do check if you have the PayFlow Edition of PayPal Pro to know if you need to enter the PayFlow credentials in the s2Member configuration. |

Thanks Lori. I see, the MOP vars do indicate a Level 0 access being required, as if the user weren’t logged in when trying to access those pages… Could you please read this article and make sure that isn’t the case? Knowledge Base » Logged In, But Am I? If that doesn’t work, please do some general troubleshooting following the tips here: Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips. If you are using caching, please make sure database and object caching aren’t enabled, they are known to cause trouble. Not sure how it’d cause what you’re experiencing, but it’s worth making sure. Micael, you try the above too, please. |

I see, then it’s unrelated to s2Member’s protection. Since it’s a problem with the video player shortcode you’re using, I’d contact its developer for help, since he’d be more familiar with how it works or why it may not. Have you contacted him? |

Hmm… Maybe you don’t need to protect the image and could just have elsewhere unprotected. But if you need it together with the video, you could try using a download key… [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Download Options -› Advanced Download Restrictions[/hilite] |

So he has PayPal Pro now and using the pro-forms? But how are you using the pro-form but not the shortcode for it? Please check if the PayPal Pro version he has is the PayFlow Edition. If so, please complete the PayFlow info in s2Member too. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› PayFlow[/hilite] If he wants to sell a subscription and get paid with cards on his site, he will need to get DPRP for his PayPal Pro account. s2Member’s login widget can be added with PHP to your template, if that area isn’t normally enabled for WP widgets. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Pro Login Widget (via PHP)[/hilite] I’m afraid that I can’t help much editing your theme. Have you tried asking the theme’s developer where you should edit that? Or you can try a freelancer from a site like jobs.wordpress.net, elance.com or odesk.com. |

The person doesn’t need to register a new account, he just has to be logged in to the existing one when he loads the page that has the buttons to pay for the higher level, then his account will be referenced by s2Member to upgrade it after checkout.
You can use conditionals that check his current level to show different buttons based on that. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Simple/Shortcode Conditionals[/hilite] Or change the amount he has to pay for upgrade using variables in the shortcode. Hmm… I don’t know other social plugins for WP other than BuddyPress, but I haven’t really looked either. I’d suggest you search the plugins directory or ask in a general WordPress forum so you get more people to see your question and give suggestions. |

Thanks for the kudos! :) Well, bbPress does some weird dynamic things with roles/capabilities since a recent update, and we’ve had to deal with it, partly adding that reset button. It’s possible that Woo or something else in your installation is not ready for the new stuff bbPress is doing with roles/capabilities. It’d be good to do some testing to find which one and notify them so they’re aware fo the problem. I’m not sure if future updates of the plugins will need the reset once more, so remember to check for the problem again after each plugin udpate, just to be on the safe side. Or find a plugin combination that doesn’t show that problem. |

So if the user is level 2 or 3, he should be demoted to 1, but if 1 demoted to 0 (subscriber)? Maybe something like this: Create this directory and file: /wp-content/mu-plugins/s2hacks.php |

Ah, that’s good to know. :)
Ah, I see. Do the s2Member logs show a problem with the Auth.Net communication during that peak? Or was the peak problem on PAP’s side? |
