Hello Chad, The many times I’ve seen this, the thing at fault was the theme. Could you please try changing to the default WordPress theme (TwentyEleven). If it works after that, then it means your theme is interfering with WordPress itself. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Gordon, Could you please try making a theme compatibility test? Just change back to the default theme (TwentyEleven) and see if it works. Also, try also doing a compatibility test with other plugins, simply disable all the plugins except s2Member, if itworks, then enable them one by one until the problem appears again. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Matt, If you need more than 4 levels you will need to use the pro version of s2Member. Also, I would recommend you go with the specific post/page access restrictions for this one: You can find them under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Specific Post/Page Access Restrictions. Hope this helps. :) |

Oh the rating part, I’m not sure if it’s a plugin, I believe it’s an integration with another website. :) I believe the integration was made with PollDaddy. Hope this helps. :) |

Oh Harley I’m very sorry! I didn’t realize you were talking about the blog service, I thought you were talking about a normal website using WordPress. Very sorry for the confusion I might have caused. Sincerely, |

I suggest you check this video for that matter: It’s not FileZilla, but the interface is very similar. Just follow the instructions on installation on the following link: Hope this helps. :) |

I totally see your point Kevin, it’s always best to research and compare thoroughly, and then buy. Otherwise most of the time it will not work the way you expected it to, or it simply will be a total waste of money, if you payed for it. So, with time I’ve come to enjoy researching, since I need to do a lot of it, and I also enjoy learning new stuff. :) |

Hello Steven, You could achieve this easily, seeing how you have the pro version of s2Member. Simply put the link, but with JavaScript just make it so that it opens like a piece of text, with the pro-form or the button in there. Instead of sending them to another page/post. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Kevin, I agree with you on the research part, at this point I enjoy doing research for everything I download or buy. :P I’ll send this review to Cristián, Jason and Raam, so that they can give you their thanks. ;) |

Hello Harley, It will work if you upload it correctly through FileZilla, WordPress does not ban FTP, it simply does not offer functionality for it. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Roberta, Did you login to s2Member with the pro account you bought? Or did you create a new account? Sorry for the obvious question, just want to make sure this is not the issue. ;) |

Hello Gordon, What version of WordPress do you have? Also, have you changed theme or something along those lines recently? If not, have you installed any plugins recently? Looking forward to your answer. :) |

Hello Boston, Currently s2Member does not protect by certain taxonomies. For what you need, you might be interested in using a special tag in those posts, and protect that tag. For more info check under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Tag Access Restrictions. You could of course also use the URI access restriction, but I think for what you need this would work. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Steven, You might be interested in using s2Member conditionals for this, which you can find under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Simple/Shortcode Conditionals. And here’s a KBA on them: Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Herve, I think the only way I could recommend to do this is the following: Simply protect a page with specific post/page access, which you can find under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Specific Post/Page Access Restrictions. Then put the promotional button there. And then under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Buttons -› Specific Post/Page Access Links give the users one of those links. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Terry, Yes I read that, and it does sound confusing, I’m gonna ask Jason if he can clarify that a bit. But basically, the free version supports free levels, what it doesn’t support is free custom capabilities. In case you’re interested, here’s a video on custom capabilities: Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Martin, Is it possible you could give the full error? Also, this is suggesting that your theme or another plugin is causing a compatibility issue with s2Member/WordPress/some other plugin. So I suggest you first try making a test with your theme, and simply change to the default WordPress theme (TwentyEleven), and see if the error is still there. Also, if the problem still remains, then I suggest you try the same with the plugins, simply disable every plugin except s2Member, and test if the problem still remains, if at some point the problem dissapears, then you just activate them one by one and do the test each time youa ctivate one, when the problem appears again then you have your culprit. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Wolf, If you can do it with the free version then you can surely do it with the pro version, although you might have to modify it in order for it to work with the newer versions of s2Member, since something might have changed in the code. Hope this helps. :)

Hello Tomas, This is not possible with the current release of s2Member, although Cristián has confirmed that this will come in the next big release of s2Member. Right now the only way to accomplish it with s2Member would be to hack it in, and it’s probably gonna be more trouble than it’s worth. Hope this helps. :) |

Hmm, well, this is not possible with s2Member, as I understand, this would cause your site to be a lot slower. Have you looked into Google Analytics? I don’t have experience with it, but you should be able to log most of what you want. Again, if you do this with a hack, it would slow down your site significantly. Hope this helps. :) |
