Could you please provide a link to where these PayPal buttons can be found? Just to see if I can spot a problem. :) – Eduan |

Hello George, If I understood correctly, you setup a custom logo and background under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Login Registration Design but it isn’t showing correctly right? Coud you please provide a link to the login/registration page so that I may take a look? – Eduan |

The function that lists posts is not what you’l need to modify, let me re-phrase. You’ll need to do a little MU plugin, I think, that will use s2Member content dripping. The idea is that it does conditionals using content dripping to check if it was released within a certain date (in this case 15 or 20 days), if the post was released within those days (so the conditional equals true) then it will protect it with s2Member, toherwise it will deactivate any s2Member protection. You can find the s2Member codex here: s2Member® » Codex (Source Code Docs) – Eduan |

Hello Shalabh, Just to make sure I understand what you want. I understand you want only paid users to have access to the latest posts. What I don’t understand is exactly what you want to achieve with the content. I imagine you want it to be completely protected except the preview correct? If yes, then, if I remember right, you will need to play with content dripping in order to automatically protect posts that are not older than #. You’ll have to edit your theme (or whatever contains the function that lists your recent posts). Then in order to just protect those in the post listing check under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Alternative View Protection. This is in order to allow a preview but protect the post itself. Hope that helps. :) |

There is still no ETA. We are expecting, emphasis on expecting, to have a beta version of the next generation of s2Member by mid July or so. Please understand this beta version will barely have any GUI at all. So again, just like a little teaser, but I wouldn’t expect a full release this year yet. – Eduan |

Hello Julien, What pages/posts did you restrict? Are those accessible to the public? Are you testing this yourself or having other people help you? If you’re testing it yourself, have you made sure that you are logged out of the admin account? – Eduan |

Hello Mark, Yeah the best you can do right now is try to re-install. Normally you would enable deactivation safe-guards (Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Deactivation Safeguards) before doing this but it seems it’s not possible for you… – Eduan |

Yes, this is possible. Again using content dripping (although with different conditions).
Yes, a well coded theme shouldn’t have any problems with s2Member, but not all themes are coded well, just take that in mind.
Yes, you would do this using specific post/page access restrictions (Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Specific Post/Page Access Restrictions). You would offer the “private” access to these protected pages with the links you can generate under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Buttons -› Specific Post/Page Access Links. – Eduan |

Hello Cat, Well in order to have access to the pro version you need to pay for it first. Have you upgraded your version recently? If you have that’s a problem, because you need access to an account with the pro version bought in order to be able to upgrade to the pro version. – Eduan |

Hello there, Well the best way to accomplish this would be with custom capabilities (ccaps for short). You can watch a video about them: Video » s2Member (Custom Capabilities) – Eduan |

Hello Tom,
Users can register for free and get content that way. Now that “certain content”, do you want it to be accessible for free or does the user have to pay for it?
Yes this is possible using content dripping (Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Content Dripping). – Eduan |
