Hello there, I’m afraid this is not currently possible with s2member. If you want this you’ll have to code it in. You can protect file/video downloads/streams as long as they’re in your own server. Check under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Download Options for all the download restrictions. But if they’re outside your server you really have no way to protect them. If they’re on Amazon S3 you can protect them, since s2Member is integrated in that way Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Download Options -› Amazon® S3/CDN Storage. Does this answer your question? – Eduan |

Hello Andrew, Currently there’s no way to check this AFAIK. I came up with a quick work-around though. Every time you add ccaps (short for custom capabilities) to users always add the same ccap, for example in every button include a ccap ccap. Then you just need to check if the user has that ccap in order to know if the has any ccaps at all. :) For example:

Actually, webboy, you should use S2MEMBER_CURRENT_USER_REGISTRATION_TIME. This returns the Unix timestamp of when the user first registered his username. S2MEMBER_CURRENT_USER_REGISTRATION_DAYS returns the total amount of time the user has been registered for. So working off of your description you’re looking for the first one, but for your needs you actually need the second one. ;) – Eduan |

Hello Andrew,
OK first there’s a flaw with this theory. If the user is already level 1 he can’t pay for level 1 again just for a custom capability. He has to upgrade or downgrade his level in order to be able to change his custom capabilities. However, if you have the pro version you can modify custom capaiblities only without needing to modify the user’s level in the same process.
I’m not sure myself, this is a good question. I’ll have to ask Jason. :) – Eduan |

I’m afraid that’s not how translations work with s2Member. :/ If users want a translation they’ll find the file and use it like described here, or translate it and once again use it like that. – Eduan |

Hello Greg, see my answers below:
This was achieved using the theme, not s2Member. So no, s2Member does not offer these features I’m afraid.
This is not something s2Member offers. You can add s2Member PayPal buttons for the “pay now” buttons and do the rest with plugins or HTML though. :)
Both of these are handled by your theme. s2Member doesn’t have control over stuff like this, except if the excerpt is the only thing that’s not protected in a post. :) So to recap, s2Member doesn’t handle any of this. Most/all of this is handled by your theme. – Eduan |

The user and password you provided weren’t for an admin account were they? One of the solutions for a situation like this is to go to a previous backup of your website/database. That’s what I would do. – Eduan |

Hello Joe, There’s a pre-sale questions forum for users that are considering buying the pro version. So that they can ask questions that would convince them to upgrade to the pro version. Only ask questions regarding the pro version though. ;) – Eduan |

I want to point out that this happens because WordPress converts ” to ” and ‘ to ‘. See, even the text I posted here was converted to the pretty version. So yeah, this is not really a bug with s2Member, but rather a (useless IMO) feature that WordPress offers. – Eduan |

You can easily do that under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Login Registration Design -> Logo Image Configuration. You can have the logo just be a transparent image, and it’ll be the same color as the background. :) If I still haven’t answered your question, I’m sorry about that. :( – Eduan |

Could you please clear up what you mean with s2Member button and s2Member form? I mean what are teh differences? Where can you find both? You do not have access to the pro version, and the pro-forms don’t look like that (if I remember right), so you aren’t talking about s2Member pro-forms are you? – Eduan |

The login page is this one correct? I get a blue background, and I do get a logo, which does not seem to exist at all and that’s why it isn’t shown… – Eduan |

Well you gotta uninstall s2Member before installing it again. With FTP just delete that folder and then upload/install the plugin again. :) – Eduan |

Hello Fahad, I don’t understand the problem you’re having. Is the problem the fact that the description can only be 100 chars long? Also how do you have access to the pro version? Your account doesn’t seem to reflect that you bought s2Member. – Eduan |
