The best way to remove that from the URL is to do what a hack I can’t find describes. :P That extra thing added to the URL is something added by s2Member called MOP variables (Membership Options Page variables), you can fid them under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Membership Options Page Variables (MOP Vars). If you could please try these troubleshooting tips that will help, it’s probably some kind of incompatibility what’s causing the problem: Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips – Eduan |

Ah yes. I’m afraid I’m not experienced with multisite networks yet. I suggest you contact WordPress’ support forums, they’re going to be able to provide the best help I think. :) – Eduan |

Hello KH, You can add extra fields to the registration, so the user is required to put in that extra info you setup. You can find it under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Registration/Profile Fields. It is also available in the free version so you can check it out before buying the pro version. :) Does this answer your question? |

Hello Ross, If you’re sure that the problem is the theme then I think your best bet is to contact your theme’s developer and ask him to look into it. He’s sure to know what changed and have much more luck on looking into the problem. – Eduan |

Hello Mary, You can also configure this setting from within WordPress, under WP Dashboard -> Settings -> General and search for “Anyone can register”. Hope this helps. :) |

Ah I see. For this you would need to edit s2Member itself I’m afraid. Don’t know where though. :/ – Eduan |

I see. So you only experience this problem when you’re logged in as an admin then? They don’t get redirected when you’re logged in as an admin? If so then this is expected and normal behavior. If not then I still don’t understand what the problem is. :/ – Eduan |

I think if any it would cause problems with s2Member’s CSS and JavaScript. It may also cause problems with login. Those are some things I would lookout for, however a full check never hurts, which means simply making sure everything works as it currently is. :) – Eduan |

Hello Scott, Are you referring to the s2Member login widget? That’s the only way s2Member provides to login the user, outside of the WordPress default of course. You can find the PHP version under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Pro Login Widget (via PHP). Although s2Member doesn’t provide any instructions on adding this behavior to your website, this must be added by your theme or by you in the header.php file (I think). – Eduan |

I’m not sure what the problem is, could you please tell us the expected behavior (in a step-by-step manner). Just some thoughts, I believe that URL is redirecting the user to the membership options page. If it’s empty unless you’re logged in as an admin then that means that means your membership options page doesn’t contain any content that’s public. – Eduan |

Hello Michael, No with the pro version you don’t get this extra control. As I’m aware, the only non-hacky way to get the customer’s ID is by checking the replacement codes available under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Notifications. Although you would need to find it under the “event” in which you need to grab the customer ID. Although I’m not sure if s2Member offers access to this ID, you’ll have to check. – Eduan |

Hello Benjamin, Shortcodes don’t work inside code, that’s why it doesn’t work. You will need to use the PHP version of these conditionals, check under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Advanced PHP Conditionals for more info. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Steven, I can’t say for sure if it works or not. I suggest you make a complete backup of your website and try it out, if it doesn’t work then you can just rollback to the backup you made earlier. ;) Hope this helps. :) |

I’m sorry, I must-ve missed this. For some reason it didn’t appear in my unread posts inbox, while others did. Recently Neither Bruce nor Raam have been online, so right now the only official support is Cristian, and community support is me. :) – Eduan |
