Hello ECC, I’m afraid this currently isn’t part of s2Member. You would have to implement this yourself. – Eduan |

Hello Troglos, This is not available as-is, you would use a work-around. You would allow the users to register at level 0, and if you approve them you upgrade them to level 1 manually. Just remember you would protect your content at level 1. Hope this helps. :) |

Oh that’s new, thanks for the video Moty. Haven’t checked the videos section for more than a year now. :P Or I simply missed it, because it seems like an old video. – Eduan |

Using URI restrictions like you said, but the problem remains if it’s a different installation, you can’t keep track of users in both installations. :/ – Eduan |

Hello Aymeric, I’m afraid currently s2Member is only integrated with iDevAffiliate and ShareASale, you can find both integrations under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Tracking -› Integrating iDevAffiliate® and Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Tracking -› Integrating ShareASale®. Also, here’s a video by Jason (lead developer) on integrating with iDevAffiliate: Video » s2Member (iDevAffiliate Integration) Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Moty, I believe you can achieve this, the same way s2member.com has done it for these forums. It is using a heavily modified version of bbPress if I’m not mistaken. Hope this helps. :) |

Oh I’m sorry, I forgot to give you a link to the hack for the reminder (oops!): http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/setting-up-eot-notifications/ Yeah, I really think asking the users to register again is not a big problem, in fact I think it’s another step for security. :) Just make a normal button, and ask them to pay again, but give them an extra amount of time to make up for any time they might lose from their previous subscription. ;) – Eduan |

Well, you could do the change for level 2, 3, 4 whatever level that you never offer, and to those users give them those levels. – Eduan |

How is that file named TM? You should be looking for the style.css file, only there will your changes take effect. A useful tip, make sure to put it at the end of the file, so that it overwrites any other style. :) – Eduan |

Hello Buck, I believe you are looking for the User Role Editor plugin, I believe you would simply have to give level 1 the author/contributor/editor role, or vice-versa. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Jorge, Currently this is not possible with s2Member, or WordPress for that matter. WordPress can’t keep track of users or info over multiple installations I’m afraid, so if you want this you will need to code a little bit on productA.maindomain.com in order to check if both users are the same, or something along those lines. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Andrejs,
This is possible, with a single hack though, specifically for the reminder.
This is also possible, but you will need some code to check if it’s September 1, or after, and before the new year. Or you can manually change this button/pro-form to reflect the correct membership depending on the date.
From where are you importing the users from? The import feature is only available through s2Member pro if I’m not mistaken, I believe WordPress has it’s own import/export features, but not sure how they work with s2Member. – Eduan |

Hello Emmanuel, Yes, this is possible, just take into account level folders, if you don’t know what I mean, check under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Custom Capability and Member Level Files, which will explain how to protect content to different levels. And yes, you can create any hierarchy of folders that you want, just make sure to point to the files correctly. :) – Eduan |

Hello Chase, I’m afraid you will need to use PayPal pro in order to accept payments through credit/debit cards, check this article for what you can and can’t do with the different PayPal accounts: Knowledge Base » PayPal® Services / A Quick Comparison For Richard, you can contact him or ask him for details in that same post. :) Also check this link for integrating with new gateways: – Eduan |

Hello Jorge, I’m afraid this functionality is not within s2Member’s features right now, or of any plugin related to s2Member, that I’m aware. In short, you will need to implement this behavior yourself, or hire a freelancer to do this for you. You can find reliable freelancers at jobs.wordpress.net or elance.com. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Alex, I believe you are looking for s2Member conditionals, which allow you to separate the content depending on the user’s access. You can find an article about them here: Knowledge Base » s2Member® Conditionals Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Dean, It seems both problems are caused by your current theme. Could you try changing your theme momentarily to the default WordPress theme (Twenty Eleven)? The reasons I suspect your theme is because the shortcode for the button/pro-form is not being interpreted as a shortcode, but rather as text, that leads me to believe that your current theme modifies WordPress’ behavior in that regard. And second, that error you posted leads to your theme, so either the theme is not coded correctly there, or s2Member pro is not installed correctly. So, to recap: And also make sure that s2Member (specifically s2Member pro) is installed correctly, if needed follow the instructions here on how to install the pro version correctly: s2Member® » Pro » Install/Upgrade Instructions – Eduan |

Hello Phil, I’m afraid there currently isn’t anything keeping track of what a user accesses (except his access of course), or a record of what users accessed something. – Eduan |

Hello Raul, I’m afraid this functionality is not built in into s2Member, and it’s no simple thing either. You could maybe find a work-around with the current s2Member, but I can’t immediately figure out how. :/ I suggest that you look for a developer at jobs.wordpress.net or elance.com, since this is not an easy task. – Eduan |
