The choice between levels and ccaps depends on how you will package the content to sell, and what other features of s2Member you want to use in combination with it. If your packages will give incremental access (package 2 gets access to content for package 1, plus content for package 2) then levels would work. If content will be separate (user who gets package 2 doesn’t get access to content for package 1), then ccaps would be needed (or customizing the levels roles). If you want to use a feature that works with levels only (like URI restriction, or AWeber list transitions, or download limits for protected files, etc), then you’ll need to use levels. |

Right, it’s like Eduán said. The [hilite code]/**[/hilite] is the start of a comment block, so they line you added is inside a comment, you need to put it before that, like Eduán showed you. :) |

Hi Anissa. Could you make sure you have logging enabled and run a test purchase so we get the log entries for it? Then post the entries (from all the log files in s2member-logs) for the test transaction with the error. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Account Details -› Logging[/hilite] Also, did you try the server check tool? Put it in the WordPress directory and open it in your browser. http://www.s2member.com/r/server-check-tool/ Thanks! |

Hi Lisa. You could modify the export tool to export the CSV the way you want it. Here’s a hack that may help: http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=14093 I recommend that you work on a copy of the file, and put it in the must-use plugins folder /wp-content/mu-plugins/ so it’s not overwritten on update. I hope that helps. :) |

Thanks, I understand now. I’m guessing it’s a plugin/theme causing it.
Could you try every plugin? Leave just BuddyPress and s2Member with the default theme. Start bringing the others back one by one and checking after each if the problem returns. |

If the cart works form WordPress (i.e. it’s a plugin), you can use the s2Member URI restriction to restrict access to its pages. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› URI Access Restrictions[/hilite] |

Found the thread: http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=14093 It’s only for the easy-read format of the export tool. I haven’t seen anyone modify the format to re-import, or the import tool yet. Reading that hack you should get an idea of how to do the others, though. I hope that helps. :) |

I see. I’m not familiar with the JVzoo integration really. It’s the first time I see the interface for it on their side. I think it’ll be best if you contact them asking for help, since they’re the ones that know it in depth and could tell sooner what the problem is being in your case. Could you try that? Let me know how it goes, please. :) |

Hi Annika.
I’ll email Elizabeth in Billing.
You mean the New User email? That’s the one that includes the user’s password on registration. Maybe it’s being caught by the spam filter. You can try customizing it a bit so it’s more unique. Same for the Signup Confirmation email. This article may also be useful: Knowledge Base » Troubleshooting Email Delivery Problems I hope that helps. :) |

Hi Brett. No, coupon codes can only be limited by expiration date, not uses. We’ll be improving this in the future, but it’s not ready yet.
The only way to do it would be to have a page for each user, protected with a custom capability just for him, and then limit the coupon to be used in that page only. It’s not practical if the coupon is meant for lots of users. :/ |

Ah, yes, that’s possible with the registration pro-forms that s2Member Pro adds. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms[/hilite] :) |

You mean to receive payments from your users? No, it’d have to be through one of the payment gateways supported by s2Member or s2Member Pro. Or you mean to pay for the s2Member Pro license here? |

Yeah, your custom script to update the passwords in the database may be the best approach if you’re positive that they’ll work with WP as they do with Drupal. By the way, you can leave the password field blank in the import CSV, then a new one will be generated for each user, but you’ll just replace it with your script. |

Hi Bruno. Right, it’s like Cassel says. Just go through the panels in the General Options page first, then go to the options page for the payment gateway you plan to use and go through the panels there. If you don’t see the gateway in the navigation, then enable it from Other Gateways first. I hope that helps. :) |

Hi Jacob.
I split your post into a new thread. To start a new thread, go to the end of the forum page and you’ll see a box to type your opening post, similar to the box to leave a reply. http://www.s2member.com/forums/forum/customers/
Sorry, the format hasn’t changed in the current s2Member. This will change with the new s2Member we’re working on, which is still not ready. :/ If you need it now and can’t wait, you can try customizing the export/import code. |

Hi Marc-Andre. Did you verify that you filled out the fields without errors? [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Account Details[/hilite] Is your PayPal Pro account using the PayPal Pro API or the PayFlow API? If the latter, this video may help: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0jOq2MRTVQ Did you contact PayPal to ask them about that error? I googled it, but didn’t find something useful. |
