Hi Vanessa. I’m afraid that AWeber doesn’t notify s2Member whether the user confirmed his subscription or not… One way you could do it, with a little hack, would be to have AWeber, after confirmation, send the person to a page in your site that will have some code save for that user a value in the usermeta table, with the date the person confirmed his subscription. Then your drips would check the date in that usermeta field to deliver the content drips. If this is something you don’t know how to do, you can post a job at jobs.wordpress.net to get a freelancer to do it for you. I hope that helps. :) |

Hi Soli. I don’t know why the OptimizePress login form doesn’t work, you’d have to ask them, I guess. s2Member has a login form you can include in WP pages, though. Please read here: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Pro Login Widget (via PHP)[/hilite] I hope it helps. :) |

Hi Luis. I’m not sure what Amazon HTTP Live streaming is, but I know that s2Member can have protected files streamed from Amazon over RTMP. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Download Options -› JW Player® & RTMP Protocol Examples[/hilite] |

It may be possible with some hacking, but it’s not something that s2Member does by default. You’d have to protect pages with a hack, rather than the s2Member box with the ccaps field in the post/page edit form. And the hack would have to check what ccaps the user has, get the date from that, and then compare it with the date the post/page is protected with. This is more advanced than what you’ve done so far, but you could figure it out, just as you did the conditionals and other PHP. The ccustom capabilities video has a hack example with conditionals and ccaps that may give you some ideas. Video » s2Member (Custom Capabilities) |

About the emails, my reply would be as above: http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/auto-login-after-register-some-other-bits/#post-21687 Now, if transactions are working, the emails would be sent, even if you didn’t customize them, there’s the default text for each. If they aren’t being sent, then it’s most probable that the transaction has something wrong. Please make sure you have logging enabled and do a test checkout to get new log entries. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Account Details -› Logging[/hilite] This may help too: Knowledge Base » Troubleshooting Email Delivery Problems Yes, the instructions in the videos are for PayPal in the first one, and the new PayFlow settings for PayPal Pro in the second one. That’s what you need for PayPal Pro, besides having the service enabled in your PayPal account, of course. About the order of the fields in the pro-form, you can try moving them around a bit in the template. Pre Sale FAQs » Is it possible to modify s2Member® Pro Form templates? I hope that helps. :) |

I’m glad you solved the host problem, and that the issue is gone. I mentioned caching, but didn’t mean the browser’s, was thinking object caching, which is server side. It is done by some caching plugins and it’s known to cause trouble. When you tried viewing from different computers, did you also try different accounts, including normal, non-admin ones? Just curious. |

For now, coupons are usable in any pro-form. In the future you’ll be able to limit them in several new ways, including the form they can be used in. |

Hi Mary.
s2Member doesn’t manage login or sessions, that’s done by WordPress. To have a single login, you’ll have to integrate the forum with your WordPress installation.
Higher levels get access to content for lower levels, since level access is incremental. To change this behavior, you’d need to hack the WP roles for s2Member levels. About what you can protect, s2Member’s URI restriction can manage access to forum URLs that are served by WordPress, as in a plugin, not forums that run outside of WordPress. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› URI Access Restrictions[/hilite]
s2Member has a more specific integration with bbPress. Video » s2Member (bbPress Bridge Integration) The URI restriction would work with bbPress and Simple:Press but, if I’m not mistaken, Vanilla Press are a separate script not served by WordPress, so that would not be protected. I hope that helps. :) |

Hi Kev.
That’s fine. It’s a single live site, the development one doesn’t count.
Yes, s2Member works around this ending the previous subscription and starting a new one, instead of modifying the existing one. You will need PayPal Pro for this.
I hope that helps! |

Hi Dave.
Thanks for the kudos!
Not delay, but yes stop. You’d have to provide the cancellation pro-form for him to do it. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Authorize.Net® Pro Forms -› Billing Cancellation Forms[/hilite] I hope that helps. :) |

Hi Jason. Yeah, please let us know if you find the thread you wanted to reply to. :) Threads get closed automatically after a certain time without activity. Next time you’d like to reopen one, you could post as you did here, but with a link to the thread you’re refering to. |

Hi Mark. That’s a weird behavior. Maybe caused by caching? I suggest that you deactivate the caching plugin you’re using, if you have one, and see if that solves it. If not, deactivate other plugins one by one, in case there’s a conflict with one causing it, and check after each if the problem continues. I hope that helps. |

Hi Fede. If you wanted to have a free registration pro-form, you can use the PayPal one, since it won’t be handling a payment, doesn’t matter if you were paid with ClickBank. The problem here would be that anyone would have access to the ClickBank thank-you page and then anyone would be able to register, because the free registration pro-form doesn’t check the open registration setting or the user’s cookie after payment. What I suggest is that you thank the person in the thank-you page, tell him the stuff ClickBank requires you to, and have a link to the normal WP registration form, telling him to click it to go create his account. That registrationo form will only let paying users to register. I hope that helps. :) |

Hi Luke. I think you could achieve something close to that with s2Member. In order to upgrade an account, the user will have to be logged in when he starts the upsell. So you need to log him in right after the first purchase. In order to register him when he starts the checkout, instead of after finishing it, you should use the PayPal pro-forms. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms[/hilite] To reduce the number of registration fields, you can uncheck some settings here: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Registration/Profile Fields[/hilite] In that same panel, make passwords not be customizable, so WP generates one and emails it to him. To customize the New User email, go here: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Email Configuration -> New User[/hilite] To use the email address for the username, you could try the hack in this thread: http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=14806 To log the user in automatically after registration, you can use this hack: http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/auto-login-after-successful-payment/#post-16660 To redirect the person to your upsell, you could use the success attribute in your shortcode, or the Login Redirections: You can use Levels, which give incremental access, but in case you need the access to be a bit more independent, you may want to look at Custom Capabilities. Video » s2Member (Custom Capabilities)
It sounds like Upsell 1 would be in another site. s2Member can only manage access to content in the WordPress installation it’s in, it doesn’t work across sites. I hope that helps! :) |

No, ccaps don’t have a time stored by s2Member (yet), if I remember correctly, only Level payment times are stored. But you can generate the ccap names using that date format. Your time checks would need to be implemented by your code, getting the date from the name’s string, it’s not something s2Member does. |

I see this in the first log: [hilite pre_code]0 => 'Unable to verify $_POST vars. This is most likely related to an invalid configuration of s2Member, or a problem with server compatibility.', [/hilite] And this in the second one: [hilite pre_code]0 => 'No Return-Data. Customer must wait for Email Confirmation.', [/hilite] You seem to be losing the POST vars somewhere along the way, s2Member isn’t getting them. Just in case it’s a server thing, could you try this script, please? http://www.s2member.com/r/server-check-tool/ Are you using the IPN script in the same site WordPress is installed in? |

Right, these links can be generated with PHP without you having to do it manually each time. Here’s an example: http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=2819#p8343 |

You can use them in either one: a hack or your post, it’ll depend on what you’re implementing. |

Hi Santosh. I’m not familiar with the WSO integration, but I’ll try to help. First: could you make sure you have logging enabled? And could you share your log entries for the test transaction? (x’ing out any private info.) [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Account Details -› Logging[/hilite] Thanks! |
