I’ll have to ask Jason about that, because it’s the first time it comes up as a problem. I’ll let you know what he says as soon as I hear back from him. |

Okay, I’ll wait for you to confirm that the PayPal credentials are all correct. If the credentials don’t solve the problem, I will need you to submit the site’s login info so I can take a look and try to find the cause of the problem, but I understand you need to get permission for that first, as well. I’ll wait for your update. |

I didn’t mean extra files, I meant an extra folder in the path, like this: /wp-content/plugins/s2member-pro/[hilite mono]s2member-pro/[/hilite]pro-module.php It’s explained in the page I linked to above: s2Member® » Pro » Install/Upgrade Instructions If that’s not the case, and the server scanner gave you an all green, then you can send the site’s info using the contact form and I’ll take a look for you. If you do, please leave a reply here letting me know. Thanks. s2Member® » Private Contact Form |

We don’t give this kind of service, but maybe a developer browsing this forum sees your post and contacts you. Or you could try posting the job in a freelancer board like jobs.wordpress.net, odesk.com or elance.com. |

The settings will be not lost if you have the Deactivation Safeguards enabled. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Deactivation Safeguards[/hilite] I’d do that, remove the s2member-pro folder and reupload it as you did with the framework. |

Thanks, got the email this time. I see in your PayFlow API log this in the last entry:
If you’re positive they credentials you entered are correct, could you ask PayPal support about it for a hint on why you may be getting this? The PayPal API log says in the last entry:
Again, could you ask PayPal support about it? They should confirm if you have DPRP. You’re not using Sandbox credentials mixed with your account’s, right? Just checking. |

Those warning about s2Member won’t affect your site, s2Member works fine. And they aren’t the ones slowing down the site, sites with good speeds get those too if WP_DEBUG is enabled. http://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG Could you please try these? Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips |

Thanks for the info. The PayPal services seem okay. From what you tell me there, you need to fill out the PayFlow fields in s2Member too. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› PayFlow™ Account Details[/hilite] This may help: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0jOq2MRTVQ We didn’t receive the contact form you sent. We’re currently having problems with some file types when using attachments, and we’re working on solving this. Please resend it without any attachments to be safe, and leave a new reply here when you do. Thanks! s2Member® » Private Contact Form Even if I get the site’s login info, I can’t tell if the PayPal credentials are correct, so please verify that you entered all the correct info. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options[/hilite] Also, although it’s not as good as getting the payments on your site, if you need to go live and couldn’t get this ready on time, you can still use the Express Checkout option in your pro-form. For this, change the value of the [hilite mono]accept[/hilite] shortcode attribute to just “paypal”. As soon as you can get the cards working, you can add them to the pro-form customers see. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Shortcode Attributes -> accept[/hilite] |

But for some reason the tests are not passing in the server scanner, so it’s not working for s2Member either. You need those tests to pass. Have you contacted your webhost about those messages so they help you? It’s a server configuration thing. |

No, we haven’t thought about this. It’s very unlikely we’ll add an uploads feature for users. I took a note of your request, though, and we may consider it if it keeps coming up. Thanks for the suggestion! :) |

Yes, you can use the custom profile fields to create a dropdown menu with the possible referrers. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Registration/Profile Fields[/hilite] |

There’s no conditional there for Level 0 users, only for non logged in and for Level 1. For Level 0 users it’d be:
[hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Simple/Shortcode Conditionals[/hilite]

Hi Blair John. I’ll ask about the refund, although it’s the responsibility of the buyer to know if the payment gateway he wants to use is supported by s2Member Pro and available in the country he’ll work in. About using the s2Member pro-forms, you may not be able to get on-site payments, since you don’t have PayPal Pro or Authorize.Net, but you can still use them with Express Checkout. I imagine you do have that PayPal service available there. |

Have you asked the OptimizePress guys about it? I don’t have the theme so am not familiar with it, and s2Member doesn’t have to do with those links. |

Thanks for the info. I see that the URL for the local file seems formatted correctly. The problem seems to be with the directory itself. If I try opening http://www.bitsworkshop.org/premium/wp-content/plugins/s2member-files/ I get a 500 error too.
Did you contact your webhost to see if they can help understand the reason behind it? |

Did you make sure you’re using the same release version for s2Member and s2Member Pro? You can try the server scanner to check if the checksum for the s2member and s2member-pro directories are correct. Knowledge Base » s2Member® Server Scanner Did you make sure the your s2member-pro directory doesn’t have an extra folder in the path? Sometimes happens when unzipping. See: s2Member® » Pro » Install/Upgrade Instructions |

Thanks for running the tests. It’d be best to handle that warning. Could you please reupload the plugin until you pass that test? Don’t just upload over the previous copy, delete the previous one and upload. Or, upload to a differently named directory and when it’s all up in the server, then just rename both directories, so s2Member is inactive for just a brief moment. Also make sure you have your s2member-pro directory in the /wp-content/plugins/ directory. |

Thanks for the kudos! :)
Thanks for your feedback. We’re addressing this feature in the next major version of s2Member, which is a complete rewrite we’re working on.
Well, the one I know is discussed here: Knowledge Base » Offering a Free Coupon Code (100% Discount) It’s a customization, but a simple one. Please read the article and try it. It doesn’t use a field in the pro-form itself, but you could add a simple separate form for it in the same page. |
