So what you’re saying is that it’s pre-populating it even though the user has never visited that page? Or do you want this functionality? Either way, it shouldn’t and can’t work like that, cause it has to grab the info from somewhere, and if the user is not registered, it’s kinda impossible for WordPress to guess the info. |

Hello Echo, Actually, yes there is. Under WP Admin -> Settings -> Reading there will be an option to use a static page for the front page. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Fred, I am not confident I can answer all of your questions, but I can answer those which I know. ;)
Yes it does, check under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Registration/Profile Fields.
Not sure about this functionality, I believe this would have to be coded in, maybe this video will help: Video » s2Member (Client Portals?)
Not that I know of, not an official one at least, since s2Member saves it’s options and information serialized arrays within WordPress’ own tables in the database.
You might be interested in the documentation under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Tracking.
Yes this is possible with s2Member pro, check under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Import/Export. Understand that this is only available in the pro version of s2Member, the rest is available in the free version I believe. Whatever you import/export, you can’t do it with the user’s password, this is encrypted one way by WordPress. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Gary, Yes, there are, almost any well coded theme is compatible with s2Member, if you don’t have any luck with that, try the MySiteMyWay inFocus theme. s2Member uses this theme for this website, a modified version of it though. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Phil, As Adrian said, you can use your own download button, but if you plan to use a shortcode, then I would suggest you use an s2Member generated shortcode. For more info check under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Download Options. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Christopher, If you have the pro version of s2Member, you can import/export your members, their levels etc. except their passwords, cause there is no way for us (or even WordPress) to know that. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Brett, Could you please try using the following file: Simply upload it to your WordPress folder and open it with a browser. I tell you this cause I’m not sure what version of PHP s2Member requires, so just to get server problems out of the way. ;) Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Jason, I use the path tags: But I believe you wouldn’t be able to use them, only support reps can use them (which I am technically not, but have the ccap of, thanks to Jason). Actually these forums started with me as a support rep, but it limited the amount of help that I could give, so I told Jason to make me a customer, but still have the abilities of a support rep. That also explains why I can move posts, edit others’ posts, etc. Does that answer your question? |

Hello Eva, No this is not possible with s2Member, you could if you made it so that each article is a download, you can limit the amount of downloads the user can have in a month. You can check under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Download Options for more information on download restrictions. Hope this helps. :) |
