Yes Mohsin,

You can, you only need to add the email to which you would like to be notified in the text field found under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Notifications -› EOT/Deletion Notifications.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello there,

I believe s2Member does not have this functionality, you would need to find a plugin that does this for you, or generate the code yourself, which shouldn’t be too difficult either (if I’m not mistaken).

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Yechiel,

I believe you would have to change the language of WordPress for this, you could be interested in this FAQ:
Pre Sale FAQs » Can s2Member® be translated into other languages?

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Hari,

I suggest you make a new topic in the customer support forums, cause the support reps do not enter the community forums.

And once you made a post, if you could post the URL here so that Melissa and Pa can see the solution.

@Suhaib,

Hi, yes, you can use full URIs, although just remember that it must have all parts of it like you restricted it, or it won’t work.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Mohsin,

You can be sure they’re working hard for it, the past few months Jason has been working on the code constantly.

I believe those options you mentioned won’t work, since they happen after the user was demoted, not before.

Hope this answers your question. :)

Hello Crystal,

I believe s2member’s downloads folder is named s2member-files, not plugins-files. Could that be the problem?

Please tell me how it goes once you rename it. :)

I believe they don’t have a real thank you page, but here’s an article about thank you pages:
Knowledge Base » How to Create a Registration Thank You Page

Is that what you needed?

Hello Mick,

You say multisite installation, do you have the pro version by any chance?

Why don’t you use the option under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Notifications -› Registration Notifications, and make it so that when that notification calls the mu-plugin, it addes those fields to the user.

I believe you can customize it so that it sends you the level the user had, not sure though.

Just a suggestion, hope this helps. :)

Hello Brandon,

The login welcome page is not the login page, it’s just the page the users go to after they login.

The login page is located under honeycreekhoa.com/wp-login?action=register

Hope this helps. :)

So, in other words, there is no way for people to go to the registration page, without me actually hand coding a link to that page?

Yes and no. If your theme already has it, then yes, if your theme doesn’t have something as simple as that, then no.

And I’m sorry, I seemed to forget about the login widgets, s2Member does work with a recommended one:
Knowledge Base » s2Member® Login Widgets

Would it be possible for you to point me to the place in the documentation where it discusses this please? I cannot find anything about it and I would like to read all the ins and outs of this.

I’m afraid everything about login would require code. :/
You could use the following WordPress function, but it would require you to have some minor coding knowledge:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_login_form

Also, if you do use this, make sure you have a plugin like PHP Execution installed.

Hope this helps. :)

You can check out this article about that, and see if that’s enough for you:

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Theresa,

I misunderstood a little.

The login page people will use is located under http://www.yourwebsite.com/wp-login.

A user without access would be redirected to the membership options page, yes, and there they will/should find a button which would allow them to pay for access, but if you don’t have the pro version of s2Member or another working login widget plugin, they would have to login to that link I gave you above.

Hope this helps. :)

Just wanted to add my thoughts to this:

Well the problem exists within s2Member and no where else

Actually, the problem lies within your theme, if you change your theme, and it works, then it means the problem is the theme. Besides, s2Member has been thoroughly tested and is compatible with any well coded theme that follows WordPress’ coding standards, and general coding standards of course.

I have used Dynamix several times with a ton of different plugins and s2Member is the only one to have conflicts.

See my comments above.

Hello Theresa,

Most themes have a login dropdown at the top of the page, or atleast a link to the http://www.yourwebsite.com/wp-login?action=register.

The link I gave you above is the link used for registration.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Jennifer,

If you want, you can contact me at my email for me to do this hack for you, it would be simple since it is already made, although I need to customize it to your needs. :)

You can find my email in my profile page.

Hello Puela,

Yes, when he says dashboard he means the WordPress dashboard.

You need to have s2Member installed in your website for this, most of s2Member’s documentation is installed with s2Member.

There is, however, a KBA on content dripping:
Knowledge Base » Introduction to Content Dripping in s2Member®

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Ganaxi,

Do you mean the security badge? If you have any problems with that appearing, it means your theme is the problem, or you probably haven’t configured it correctly so that it appears.

Could you please be a little more specific on what logo you’re talking about?

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Anne, Jennifer,

@Anne
Have any of you tried looking at custom capabilities (ccaps)? I believe they would work the way you wish:
Video » s2Member (Custom Capabilities)

@Anne, Jennifer
I can install a hack for you which will make a membership dropdown be available, only thing is I will have to know the exact memberships, prices (and maybe ccaps) that you will use.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Theresa,

I read that this will work, even if the default WP settings for not allowing registrations is checked, however this is not the case. I’ve also read that you can use any WP login widget, however this is not working either.

If you need to, you can deactivate free registration under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Open Registration.

If you click on the login widget to create an account, shouldn’t S2Member be taking me to the Membership options page? Instead it’s taking me to the WP login page, where it says that user registrations are not allowed.

If you don’t have the pro version of s2Member, then you can’t offer a login widget. What login widget are you using for this?
