Hello there,

@Flys:
I believe you can easily achieve this a couple of ways, either you can offer a trial period, and then make it so that they pay for it, or their subscription ends.

Or you can simply offer a link to the registration page for level 0, you can use the following WordPress function in order to output the registration link:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_logout_url

@David:
In the registration page by WordPress’ default, the form there is for level 0 (the free registration link ends with wp-login?action=register).

Without the pro version the only thing you can do is offer a link to the registration page for level 0 (see above). If you have the pro version you can offer a level 0 pro-form, you can find it under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Free Registration Forms.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Mike,

I tried the link you gave, and I can see it in the list of posts, but I can’t access it when I click it.

So you might be interested in checking the options under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Alternative View Protection.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Mike,

There are a couple of things I can recommend for this:
You can use this WordPress function.

And since you have the pro version, you could also use the login widget, here’s a KBA about it:
Knowledge Base » s2Member® Login Widgets

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Lazaros,

I believe this isn’t possible by default, although I think you could do this if you’re a developer experienced with Mailchimp.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Kel,

Have you tried changing the themes? Could you try changing to the default WordPress theme (TwentyEleven) and see if it works?

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Jeroen,

I would go about this in this manner:
I would first setup my membership options page, then I would put a link to the free registration page or I would put a level 0 pro-form.

And below it I would put your pro-form for your paid level.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Ronda,

Do you have the Raw HTML plugin installed? If not, could you try using it and see if it works?

Here’s the URL to the plugin:

Hope this helps. :)

Hello there,

I believe s2Member doesn’t provide this kind of functionality, not even the pro version.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Epix,

Have you tried uploading the file without the file uploader? In other words, through FTP.

Tell me how it goes. :)

Hello Mohammed,

I believe a user was able to do this in an older forum.

I participated in it, and I believe he used the advanced conditionals in order to make sure users can’t see the comments section unless they pay.

You might be interested in checking the documentation under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Advanced PHP Conditionals, and this video:
Video » s2Member (Advanced Conditionals)

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Frank,

I can access the homepage no problems. Are you sure you’re logged out completely? What is it that’s blocked, that you can’t see even though you should?

If you want to make sure s2Member does what you need before buying it, then I suggest you use the pre-sale questions forum. You will receive support from the support reps in order to make sure that you are sure of your buy.

Hope this helps. :)

Hello Bob,

Although these forums are not the forums for Exec-PHP, the solution is to go to edit your WordPress profile, and I believe at the top (or at the bottom) there will be an option to disable the visual editor.

Now of course, his would mean you have to know HTML in order to make your posts.

Hope this helps. :)
